Chapter thirty two

I stared at Karl with uncertainty, what did this mean for us.. "This is..weird.." Karl spoke nervously as he placed his phone down, I nodded, "It is..What does this mean..? Where do we stand now.."
"I'm still hurt you kept Sulley a secret..that you tricked me into liking you.." I rolled my eyes hard, "Seriously? Can you stop saying I tricked you, you were very persistent and kept bumping into me..It wasn't a trick, I didn't gain anything from it, I just lost Sulley in the end.." Karl's gaze broke from mine, he scratched the back of his head, "I'm sorry.."
"It's fine.." I bit my lip, staring down at the pizza box.. "We'll get your account back. Im sorry i did that, I wasn't thinking well..I was just so angry, you're right T, we're both big on the platform, I shouldn't have been that impulsive.." He shot me sympathetic smile and I forced one, "I understand."
I placed my slice of pizza down and sighed heavily, "You're back to calling me by my name..?" I looked up into his eyes and he nodded, "suits you better..tell me about Sulley, where'd the idea come from..? Why an alter ego and not just your face? I mean why would you want to hide your pretty face.." Karl said nervously and I blushed, shrugging,
"Sulley is somebody I never was..actually more like..who I want to be, she isn't super shy, she's outgoing, she's a risk taker, she likes making friends.." I began, thinking back to when I started my channel, I held a smile, "I decided to be a faceless streamer because it was different than other streamers...and to be honest, if I did become famous, no one would ever know who I am, so I would still have so much privacy as Teegan, it makes me less anxious to leave the house..if people knew who I was was I would feel too out there..in the public eye.." I looked back at Karl and he nodded, "Thats completely understandable..I wish I thought about that to be honest, it does take a lot out of you, some times my anxiety is so bad I take social media breaks..you must know that though since you stalk me.." He shot me a grin and I rolled my eyes, "I do."
"So will you show me your streaming room then..?" He raised an eyebrow and I nodded, getting up, reaching my hand out to him. He slowly accepted it and got up, both of us holding hands as we made our way upstairs to my streaming room.

I turned to him before opening the door, "Hey Karl..?" I mumbled, "Yeah..?"
"Do you still like me..?" I practically whispered,
"In more than a, just a friend, kind of way?" I added,
"A lot more than in a just a friend kind of way.." He replied, the hallway was darkly lit so I was glad I could only see mostly shadows of his face and small light reflections from my room on his nose and cheeks.
"Promise..?" I raised my pinky, Karl looked down and raised his pinky, interlocking it with mine.
He placed his hand on my waist nervously and leaned down, pressing his lips against mine, kissing me softly, we pulled away after a moment, "Promise." he mumbled, I reached my hands to my lips and felt my stomach turn with joy, I pushed my streaming door open slowly and Karl's eyes lit, his face shining, "Oh my god.." He stepped into the room quickly and I stood against the door frame, watching him look around.

karl's pov

"This is your streaming room?" I looked around the room in amazement, she had a neon sign on the wall behind her set up of the twitch logo, and then she had four monitors, three in a row and one on top. The pc lit up purple and so did her keyboard and mouse. She had the cat ears headset, which was so cute, her gaming chair was purple too. She had minecraft posters all over the walls, and a corpse husband one, but we'll let that one slide, She had bean bags on the floor, and a white carpet, leds wrapping the ceiling, and I looked at her gaming chair again, it looked absolutely beat up. I turned to her with a grin, "I know, I need a new one.." Teegan rolled her eyes and I shook my head, "So its true, you beat up your chair?"
"That may be true.." She shrugged, giving me a poker face, "God..you truly are everything I want." Teegan shrugged, stepping closer to me.
"Are you impressed..?" She glanced at the room again and I smiled shaking my head, "Im so much more than just impressed T. You're the girl of my dreams.." I felt my cheeks get hot as I spoke and Teegan blushed too.. "What..?" She mumbled, I bit my lip, "nevermind..do you have any pizza pockets..?" I mumbled, she nodded, "why?"
"Let's play some games and have some pizza pockets..we have years of bonding to catch up on."
"we just had pizza.." She chuckled, I shrugged,
"we'll eat again. Come on, let's go heat some up." I picked up her hand and intertwined my fingers with hers, pulling her back to the stair case.
