Chapter twenty
Karl's pov

I watched Teegan as she nervously picked up her food from the bag, she was getting oddly nervous when she got these phone calls, it was making me nervous now too. She glanced up at me and shot me a soft smile, I smiled back forcefully and picked up my food this time. "God this is amazing, thank you Chandler.." Mia huffed from beside Teegan, I looked at her this time, some sour cream on her face, I chuckled and she looked into my eyes, "What?! Do I have something on my face..?" She placed her hand before her mouth and Chandler chuckled, picking up a napkin, he wiped her sour cream. "There you go."
I held in an aww , they were pretty cute, even if it was only the second date, I shot Teegan a confident grin and she smiled at me. "Told you. match made in heaven." She rolled her eyes, "Gotta give it to ya."
Chandler shot us both a confused glance, "Huh?"
I shook my head, "Nothing Chan Chan, no worries."
"So like, are we having a competition with mini putt?" Chandler asked, Mia grinned widely, "Hell yes." Chandler smiled widely, "Teams?"
"How about girls versus boys?" Teegan shot me a competitive glance and I smirked, "Oh you are so on." Mia nudged Teegan, giving her a certain look, "Oh..Karl, would you like to play as a team instead..Mia and Chandler can play together." She shot me a nice smile and I nodded, "Sure.." I was a bit confused but..hey T and I could have our own competition between us, even if we were a team.
"Yay we get to play together!" Mia smiled widely at Chandler, Chandler smiled back at her, "yay yay!"
Scary to see so much simping happening right now. Teegan shot me a grin and I grinned back, as if we were thinking the same thing.

We walked along the mini putt course as Chandler and Mia stormed through, rushing to see who would finish first. "God they are so..right for each other.." T mumbled as I focused my first shot. "They're cute.."
"NOOOOO!" Mia shouted from the end of the mini putt course, T and I only on the tenth track. There were 20. I looked up as I watched Chandler pick up Mia and throw her over his shoulder,
"We're getting-" the distant speaking faded as I lost sight of them. "He brings out the child in her I never saw.." T spoke as I hit the ball, watching it go in, on the first shot, she groaned as she I threw her a confident smirk, guess who was winning? Me.
"You wish you could play like this.." I picked up my ball from the hole and jumped as Teegan's ball reached my legs, making it's way into the hole. She smirked, stepping up to me, "Don't have to wish."
She stood right before my face, I really wanted to kiss her, but I resisted, we were in the middle of a mini putt course, I didn't need other people seeing that.. "How many points do I need to be in first?" T asked as she began walking to the next hole, I looked down at the paper, "i'm one point ahead."
I watched her as she prepared for the next hole, she hit the ball confidently, I watched as the ball went up a ramp and it went above the hole, I grinned, knowing she'd lose now, but it fell in. She shot me a shocked look, and she jumped up with joy. I chuckled at her, forgetting I needed to get a hole in one to stay in the lead.

T and I reached the next hole, it was secluded from the rest of the course, behind some trees. Teegan shot putted the ball and got another hole in one, I placed my ball down and focused, as I lifted my golf club and hit the ball with force. Missing. Teegan shot me a look of excitement and I sighed, dropping my head. "We're even now!" She jumped up and ran to me, giving me a hug. I hugged her back with a sad look.
"Aww sorry Karl.." She pulled away and lifted my head up with her chin, I faked a smile and she smiled widely now, "You're so cute.." My smile became real with her compliment, I felt myself lose my thoughts as I stared into her eyes, she slowly leaned up and pressed a soft kiss on my lips, a quick peck.
She then walked away before me, I lifted my hand to my lips and touched them gracefully, she was absolutely angelic.

"Finally you guys are finished.." Mia groaned as T and I walked out of the mini putt course, she sat with Chandler with churro wrappings.
"Churros, im jealous. And maybe if you two didn't have a race to putt the fastest, you could've finished with us.." Teegan grinned down at them, Chandler shrugged, "I dunno, Mia and I kicked ass so.."
"Let's get out of here, this bench hurt my butt cheeks." Chandler said as he stood up, clenching his butt cheeks as he walked away before us. We all bursted out laughing and Chandler shot us a serious look, "What? I know you like the view.." He winked and continued to walk to the car.
