Ashley was here with the biggest smile on her face when she learned she was giving me a makeover. She ran from racks to shelves picking up a whole bunch of clothes and making me try them on. After a whole lot of yes' and no's, and running from store to store she had made me buy a whole lot of "necessities". I think my wallet would argue otherwise. She made me buy hair products like a straightener and curler. I also bought dresses, skirts, and tighter clothing. She even made me buy some push-up bras insisting it would give them a better shape. I had a bag of makeup that were unreasonably expensive. Now she was making me buy heels.
"I am not wearing heels," I shook my head.
"Why not? They make your walk and legs sexy, and I feel they just grab attention," she beamed.
"Because I cannot walk in those ladders for shoes," I said.
"Come on try," she said.
I sighed and obliged. Cole held his hand up to steady me as I wore them, keeping a safe distance in case I fall to my death.
Hey this isn't all that bad. After a few almost trips here and there I was getting better.
"Now when you get home, walk in them all day. Make sure they break in and that you walk with confidence," she said.
She was coming over to teach me how to apply makeup and style my hair. She had already planned my wardrobe plan for the next too weeks. I think she was taking this way too seriously and enjoying it way too much. However, I was in debt to her. She was very nice and is wasting a lot of her time to help me knowing full well we don't get along. I guess there was more to her than I thought.
"You know what Ash, you're pretty cool," I said as she straightened my hair for me.
She had already plucked my eyebrows, that alone changed my appearance entirely.
"Aw thank you Care, that's really sweet coming from you," she said with a big smile. "You know, you might be hotter than all the other girls in the school. They're all usually intimidated by you. You're pretty without really trying and all the guys seem to like you. Now that you actually are fixing your look, you are going to be targeted a lot more."
"Oh no! Girl drama?" I whined.
Ashley laughed at me and shook her head, "it's your fault in participating in this deal. To be honest, I would like to see Dean Carter go down. I've held a lot of brokenhearted girls because of him."
"That must of been hard," I said.
"It was, so let me warn you again before you go through with this. Be careful, I don't want to hold another broken Dean girl," she said.
As much as I'd been sure before, everyone's worry was beginning to make me anxious. I sure hoped that I do win this bet, or else I'm doomed.

Ashley had picked out a very pink outfit today. It looked like I was chewed and spit out by a barbie. It was a magenta shirt, a purple, blue, magenta and pink floral skirt, and matching heeled sandals. The skirt was too short and the shirt was too tight. I wore my makeup the way Ash showed me last night and it felt like someone added 10 pounds to my face. This was going to be so horrible. I curled a few strands which was a work out of it's own. My head felt naked without some sort of hat. I had showered in some vanilla smelling shampoo and sprayed some flowery perfume. I dared say that I look like one of Ashley's friends... or the brunette version of Ashley herself.
I waited for Cole outside his car like usual. However, things weren't as usual when he came out of his house. Cole froze in his spot with a unreadable expression on his face. Okay so maybe I look like shit, what was I thinking. Do I still have time to go home and change. Negative thoughts kept running through my head as Cole made his way to his car.
