I sat on the bleacher trying to get some homework done as the boys did some warm ups and a few practice exercises.

Cole's booming voice brought my attention to the field. The coach had taken a break so Cole seemed to have taken over, "I just wanted to say that you've all worked hard in getting here. Tryouts were hell but you guys made it. Now I hear you boasting in the halls about being the best. I won't say you're wrong either, you were better than the other boys who didn't make the team. Our team is the best." The team cheered. "However, we have a few competitors who are pretty good-"

"We can take 'em," yelled Mason from the middle of crowd trying to blend in as a junior. They cheered him on. The loser was liking the attention.

"Yeah chose anyone and we can take em on," said Matt, trying to blend in as well. I had to stifle my laughter.

"Alright, you kid. You chose anyone," Dylan, the co captain, pointed at Aiden. Aiden faked a "me?" gesture.

"Come on kid, Make it interesting," said Cole in a impatient tone. Aiden faked being nervous and yelled, "her!"

The boys all laughed, "come on chose a real competition."

"No no, this should be fun. Hey you!" yelled Cole.

I looked up from my book with a "confused" look.

"Yeah you, come here," he waved me over with his hand. I can see the amusement in everyone's face.

"Do you know how to play soccer?" he asked indicating to the soccer ball.

"Um a little," I fidgeted with my fingers.

"Want to play with us?" he asked.

"I'm not so sure..."

"Come on... for me?" Cole said with his legendary heart wining smile.

"Anything for you Cole," I gushed like any girl is suppose to do. I saw him bite his lip to stop himself from laughing. Ugh I was never going to hear the end of this from the guys.

"Great beautiful you'll be on my team, fish on one side, seniors on our side. Come on newbies show us what your made of," he yelled.

I was placed forward and given the ball for beginners luck, although I won't be the one needing it. Myself, Cole and Dylan were playing offense, the twins were defense and Aiden was goalie.

"Anytime princess," sneered some boy with hair like a mop.

I started running with the ball up to the front, I was pretty fast and they were too confident so they didn't noticed me fly by them. The defense tried taking the ball away from me so I tried to have a little fun and did a few tricks and there with the ball that he couldn't get near it. Another came to try and we had the same dance. When I thought they were humiliated enough I kicked the ball into the net.

"Round two?" I smirked.

After the third goal I think It clicked to them that I was good. Now we were fighting for the last point, we were winning but these new meat were good.

"She shoots!" yelled Dylan.

"And she scoooorees!!!" I yelled. Cole ran up to me and threw me over his shoulder. Aiden and Matt had their shirts over their faces running over in circles. Mason and Dylan jumped and chest bumped each other before falling in pain. They came over and started throwing me in the air like i weighed nothing. Yes we love to gloat.

"You guys cheated!" whined the mop hair kid.

"We didn't cheat, you just underestimated your opponent and thought you were too good to try," Cole pointed out. I liked this prank they pulled on the new team, it taught them a good lesson.
