We strolled in the park with the twins and Izzy ahead of all of us. Cole and Dylan were walking behind us talking animatedly, it looked like a pretty serious conversation. I remember how I use to get jealous of Dylan at times when Cole spent a lot of time with him. I was walking with Aiden watching the two bozo's in front of us making fools of themselves. Izzy, on the other hand, was loving the attention they were giving her and found them awfully entertaining.
There was a very small fair with a petting zoo with like 3 animals, a carousel, a few games, and finally a Ferris wheel. The twins excitedly went to the carousel. We laughed at them and followed. We got on and the man in charge looked at us bored. We dramatized riding the fake horses. The boys started piling up on one horse seeing how many of them can fit on it before the guy in charge kicked us off. He looked very angry but the memory was worth it. We went to the games next since we skipped the Ferris wheel altogether, it was boring. The twins were trying to win a big stuffed minion from Despicable Me for Izzy, they were failing at the ring toss and failed at bribing the game operator. They moved on to the carnival game where you knock down some bottles with those mini bean bags. They won, thank god.
We walked around a few carni games until Aiden nudged my side. I looked at him confused, he nudged towards a small crowd that was forming. I looked in the center and found Thea. She had a mic around her ear and wearing the purple t-shirt uniform. Aiden caught everyone's attention making a few laugh and earning a glare from Dylan.
"She told me she was doing a few jobs here and there but I didn't expect this," Dylan said to Cole, which I overheard. Thea was always volunteering and saving money for a good college. This girl made plans and followed through. She dreams big, goes for it and accomplishes it. One of the many reasons I respect her so much.
"Come on couples, we have a few spots left. Great! Welcome!" She welcomed two that were now signing onto her clipboard. "We have three spots left! Come on down for great prizes!"
Cole gave Dylan a devilish grin before making his way there and we followed.
"Sign us up!" Mason yelled and wrapped his arm around Izzy's waist making her giggle. Thea looked at us a gasped. Surprise!
Matt wrapped his arm around Aiden's shoulders. "Us too!"
"You're not even a couple!" Thea gaped at them. Oh, she was going to kill us.
"Do you have something against gays?" Aiden crossed his arms in front of his chest trying to look intimidating. Dylan took a step forward but Cole put a hand on his shoulder to hold him back.
"N-no that's not it-" Thea stuttered as everyone boo'd her. "Okay fine, whatever! Come join the game!"
She turned and glared a Dylan. "Any surprise boyfriend for you?" She looked back and forth between him and Cole daring either one to piss her off.
Dylan put his hands up to surrender. "No completely straight for you baby."
There were a few awes which made Thea blush. Awe love!
A ginger walked up to Cole and wrapped her hands around his arm. "I'll be your partner."
Gag! I couldn't help but glare at her arm thinking of ways of decapitating it from her body. Something fueled through me, a feeling I've had before and hated. I hated it now more than ever because it was wrong to feel this way. I can't believe I was jealous. Why? Why was I jealous? I'm not his and he's not mine. I don't get the right to feel this way.
Cole rubbed his hand on the back of his neck nervously. Tell her no!
He opened his mouth and I felt my heart stop. Don't do it!
