Trying to get my daughter's car seat into my car was the biggest struggle and it made me realise that I need to get a new car. I usually drive Dwayne's jeep since he has two but he is driving one and the other is in the shop getting remodeled.
As I pull up at a stop light, I turn to look at my daughter who is looking around in awe. I have the hood off and we are completed exposed which making me feel anxious since there are tons of people walking on the sidewalk.
"Is that Dwayne's girlfriend?" I hear someone ask and I place my hand on my daughter's lap as I avoid eye contact with everyone.
"It is." Someone gasps and soon I am blinded by lights which scares my daughter who starts crying.
"For fuck sakes." I curse as I grab her blanket from the back. I cover the car seat with the blanket as people start screaming my name.
Not wanting to make the situation worse, I turn to the side to pose for a second.

Once the light turns green, I start driving without a second thought. When I'm a good distance away, I put the hood down before pulling the blanket off my daughter.
