Dwayne and I are currently taking a break so I've moved back into my home with my twin. The whole break was totally not expected but Dwayne felt that I was too insecure so he put us on a break.

It's all because of Lala and the hatred that I have for her is growing with each passing day. I was having date night with my man when Lala suddenly popped up and joined our date night. I was obviously not going to accept that especially since she started talking about all the cosmetic procedures I've had done. We got into a huge argument which led to us being kicked out of the place. Dwayne was embarrassed then we argued and he just decided that he needed a break.

"I don't think that we should release this collection." I say to our LuCage team. We are currently having our monthly meeting where we discuss everything relating to our brand.

"Why not?" Mya gives me a weird look.

"I feel as if we don't know where we are going with the brand. We first started this fashion line in honor of our father but now we are just releasing random shit which have nothing to do with him." I explain to them. "I just feel as if we need to rebrand our whole company. That doesn't mean that we need to change the name but we need to be clear on what our fashion brand is about."

"I agree with that." One of the production assistant comments.

"Look at what we are wearing." I gesture to our clothing. "Every collection that we produce has no relation to eachother or our father. I love this outfit but if I were to ask a stranger where to get this, they would say Balmain and not LuCage."

"That is true

"That is true." Mya nods her head in agreement. "For the next release, we can do a collection of our favourites and restock whatever we have while working on the rebrand."

The meeting goes on for another half hour before we wrap for the day. The next few weeks are going to be difficult since we now need to find an actual building for our headquarters as opposed to renting out floors like we are currently doing. We also need to buy a new warehouse and rebrand the whole company.

Knowing that I won't have my twin with me in a years time means that I really need to get my shit together. When she is in prison, everyone will be looking to me for directions and I need to be able to step up as a leader.

"Ryder contacted me." Mya says as we walk towards our car.

"What the fuck?" I purse my lips at her, "Didn't the court say that you guys are not allowed to talk?"

Mya quickly explains to me that her trial has been put on pause so she is able to speak with Ryder.

"What did he want?" I ask as we get in the jeep. "Hasn't he ruined your life enough?"

"He didn't ruin my life." Mya gives me a sad smile. "I made my own decisions and I have to own up to that. He didn't force me to sell the drugs and I easily could have left but I choose not to."

"How could you be so stupid?" I ask her. "We only have eachother, you know that."

Mya places her hand over mine, "No we don't. You have yourself and you have Dwayne. You never fought for independence until you met Dwayne and look at you now. You are making decisions for yourself and I am confident that you are going to be ok."

"You don't know that." My bottom lip trembles as I think of how lonely my life is about to be.

"But I do." Mya begins to tear up. "I've been so jealous of you, I pushed you away and that was so wrong of me to do. I am so sorry for hurting you but you needed to grow on your own and I didn't want to accept that but now I can."

"Hey

"Hey." I smile at Dwayne as he walks into the diner that we are meeting at. Dwayne and I are briefly meeting while he is working, we've got about an hour before he has to go back to work.

"Hey." He kisses the side of my face and my smile only grows as he takes his seat. "How have you been?"

"I've been alright." I sweetly answer. I want to tell him that I miss him so much but it's not the right time to tell him that. "You?"

"I've been good." He smiles.

Once we decide what we are going to eat, we place our order.

"Have you been able to speak with your mother?" I shake my head at his question. "I think you should though, it seems as if you all need your closure."

"Maybe another time." I sigh as I rest my head in my hands. "I miss you, D."

He gives me a lazy smile, "I miss you too."

"You're not planning to take me back anytime soon, are you?" I ask, knowing the answer to the question.

"What are your thoughts on Nala?" He calmly asks and I let out a sigh. "You're not ready for this. When I first decided to make you my girlfriend, I knew that there were things that I would have to give up or accept. I have to accept the fact that you are constantly making headlines for the relationship that you have with your sister. I have to accept the fact that you have a very sexual looking instagram and lifestyle."

I just look at him.

"Every baggage that you have, I always take them on and I never complain." He grabs a hold of my hand. "One ex girlfriend doesn't change that. All I can ask for in return is that you accept what comes with me. I know that Lala is a pain in the behind but you need to know that I don't care for her like I do for you."

"But you care about her." I quietly voice and he shakes his head.

"Before I make somebody my partner, we have to be friends. Lala and I were friends even after ending things. I only care about her well being but I don't care to be in a relationship with her because I have you and I love you."

"I love you too."

"Then show me." Dwayne looks me in the eyes. "Stop letting her get you."
