School AU

This is a platonic one shot. I already had this rough draft and was too lazy to change it all bc I already had half of it done.

A few people wanted more school AUs so here. It's not that great, this was a draft, but I didn't intend to finalize it and publish it. (If you asked for the school AUs, this is for you 😉).

"It's HOOOT," Nico yelled.

"Are you done with homework?" Will responded, he lay on Nico's bed, reading.

"Why thoughhh," Nico spun in his chair.

"Because you're failing," Will said.

"What are you, my mom?"

"No, but I'm your friend." Will shrugged.

"You act like my mom," Nico glared.

"Wether I'm your mom or not, you're still failing," Will snickered.

"Okay, yup. That's the last straw, I refuse to do homework," Nico walked out of the room.

"Wait! Wait, I'm joking... well I'm not joking... but I'm joking," Will got up from the bed.

"How does that make sense?" Nico stared at him in confusion.

"I don't know," Will shrugged.

"Ugh whatever, school starts in like an hour and I haven't done the homework," Nico packed up his stuff.

"That's probably because our teachers gave you, what... like all of yesterday to do it?" Will grabbed his backpack and threw it at the front door.

"Dude, I had work yesterday," Nico frowned.

"Maybe don't get a job until you balance your school life and home life?" Will pondered.

"You're asking for a fist in your face, aren't you?" Nico smiled at him.

"...understood. Let's go!" Will grabbed a pop tart from the counter and walked out of the door.

"You little fucker," Nico scoffed.

"Let's go already, don't wanna be late~" Will winked.

"You annoy me," Nico grabbed his bag and locked the door.

"Yeah, but without me, you'd forget to wake up, do you're homework... not like you do that anyway," Will murmured.

"What was that?" Nico stared at him.

"Nothing," Will looked at the buildings to his left. "Lets go catch the train, yeah?"

"Mm hm," Nico laughed.

Nico and Will ran to the gate.

"You're almost late. About 2 more minutes and you'd be sitting down right here with your hands in the air," the physical education teacher, Mr. Hedge, looked at his stop watch.

"Yes sir, sorry about that," Nico and Will smiled and ran to their classes.

"Will, Nico, almost late," the teacher, Chiron, looked at the clock.

"Emphasis on the 'almost', Mr. Chiron," Nico sat in his chair.

"Yes, yes," Chiron laughed and the bell rang.

"SHIT!" Percy ran to the classroom, but stopped at the door as soon as the bell stopped ringing.

"Mr. Jackson, late again. And do mind your language, this is a classroom," Chiron wrote on his clipboard.
