Nico can tell if someone is lying.
I know, I know, it should be Will with this power bc Apollo being the god of truth and stuff, but too bad.
I guess he can tell bc like a feeling of it being a lie or smth? It's open ended, and I'm too lazy to write how and stuff.
Nico kinda sounds possessive, but he's just a sad boi.
It's an angst btw. Sorry not sorry. I had to put something out.

Nico needs love. Right? I mean, out of everything that's happened, he deserves it. He craves it. He loves Will. Will is his pride and joy, his love.
Although, he's never had that verbal reassurance, he knows it. He feels it, but every once in a while, you got to have that reassurance right?
"Hey, Will," he says, "I love you."
Will hesitated, they were sitting on a bench in the middle of camp, he looked outward into oblivion, "... I love you too."
Nico smiled, it was nice to- *PANG* a jolt of pain cut off his thoughts.
That was a lie.
Will doesn't love him.
I mean, why him?
Nico was built on 3 things:
1. Will's happiness
2. Will's love
3. Will's smile
After years of empty promises and liars, Nico thought he finally found his special person, but he was also a liar.
He clenched his fists and looked at Will. His eyes widened, Will wasn't looking at him, no, he wasn't looking at anyone. He just looked bored. The realization hit him hard, Will did love him... but he just fell out of love.
In the beginning, Will was always smiley, happy, and loving, but now he was distant.
"Is that so?" Nico choked out. Will looked over at him. "I think I'm gonna go to my cabin, I'm a bit tired."
"Okay." Was his only response.
Will stood up, Nico following suit, they walked in separate ways. Nico couldn't get far before collapsing. He covered his mouth, muffling the soft sobs, tears blurred his vision, immobilizing him.
People rushed to his side, asking if he's okay. He brushed them off and walked to his cabin. As soon as the door closed, he sank to his knees and cried.
