You don't have to read this. Buuuuuut...
Wooooow, we're here people! Exactly 1 year of doing this one shot collection. Crazy isn't it??? I gotta say, it's crazy. I learned a lot, improved my writing a bit, and had fun.

I guess I just want to say thank you. My readers, followers, and the commenters, who always make me smile and/or laugh. So... thank you!

No, I won't be ending this. I'm not sure when or where I will be when I end this, but it's not the end.
Thanks for sticking with me through it all!

"I'm a villain. So what? Who cares? When 'heroes' couldn't protect me, I had to protect myself. Do I blame them? No. I blame society for building up the expectation of saving everyone only for it to be broken down. Destroyed. Obliterated. Gone.

Now, I make it so the heroes are the one searching for help. Begging, screaming, crying in pain for their mothers. Their fathers. The people that they're supposed to save.

Who cares if they don't like me? Who cares if people fear me. Because as Machiavelli once said 'it's better to be fear than loved' because if you're loved, they'll only use you. And I won't be used. I will use others.

So now that my little chat with you is over. How do you feel?"

"You're insane!" The poor hero coughed up blood.

"Ooh... is the wound getting to your poor little heart already?" I smiled

"Shut up!" He snapped.

"Hey... what's your name again?"

"You captured me and you don't even know me?!?" He frowned.

"Well... you're covered in blood... beaten up to a pulp... it's not the best circumstances to identify you... you're a low rank hero to... you have nothing on the big guys, you know," I walked around the chair he sat on. "So... who are you?"

"T-thorn... Tho-"

"Ugh, I don't care for your hero name... I'm talking about your real name," i flopped down on my chair.

"I'm not telling you!" He snapped again.

"Tell you what. You give me information on that... Sun healer hero, what's his name?" I tilted my head, waving a small knife around.

"...Solace?" He asked.

"Ahh! Solace!" I snapped my fingers, "go get me info... and I won't kill you."

"Absolutely not!"

"Oh c'mon! Fine, whatever. You want something to eat? Oh! My bad... I took your stomach out of your body when you were unconscious! My bad, I'm so silly," I laughed. I sat forward and rested my cheek on my hand.

"You WHAT?!? YOU DEVIL! YOUR NAME SHOULDN'T BE ANGEL! HOW IS THAT A VILLAIN NAME ANYWAY!"

"Chill, ow, my ear, I was joking. I'm not that bad..." I rolled my eyes. "And it's my name because it's my name. Sorry, I couldn't tell my mother to change it because her precious baby boy is a villain. Should I call her right now?"

"Uh..."

"Oh wait! She's fucking dead! Aha! How could I forget, ohhh..." I laughed and looked back at him in boredom and disgust. "Small hiccup."

"Well... since you're in a little situation... and you declined my offer, I'll just kill you," I stood up and grabbed my gun from my hip and pointed it at his head.

"WAIT! I'LL DO IT!" He yelled. "Just- tell me where we are, please?"

I looked around, shrugging and shaking my head, "ehh... I don't know, an underground... lair or something? Changes every once in a while. And you're too late. I don't need you anymore."

"WAI-" BAM.

"Eugh," I wiped off the blood on my cheek. "Should I have of stood farther away from him? This is disgusting!"

"I don't know," a voice behind me replied.

"How do you not know?" I turned to him frowning.

"Aww... you got blood on your pretty face," he stood from the shadows. Will Solace. He tossed me a handkerchief.

"Mmhm, yeah," I wiped off the rest of my face. "Tell me, hero."

"Hm?"

"What would they say if they knew you loved the big, bad villain, everyone is trying to catch?" I grabbed his collar. "I do have to say... you look better without your uniform... although I do like the jumpsuit."

He laughed and kissed my cheek. "Oh Nico... you really are an angel."

"Hm? Really? That's nice to know," I smiled and turned around. "Let's go. I hope you brought food home."

"Oh I did," he nodded his head.

"Hey... was he bugged?" I stopped and looked at the body.

"Yes. By me," he hugged me and kissed the back of my ear. "I guess he thought if he was bugged by Solace, he'd be safe."

"Huh... you should've come out and surprised him..." I looked back at him.

"I'll do that next time," he smiled at me. "C'mon, let's go."

I frowned at him and turned towards him. Grabbing my dagger and pressing it against the soft skin of his neck. "What are you doing?"

"What do you mean?" He looked at me with a smirk. His arms raised in surrender.

"Why are you ushering me home?" I squinted at him.

He shrugged. "It's our anniversary. What makes you think I don't want to rush you home so we can eat. I'm hungry."

"It's our anniversary?" I asked.

"Did you forget?" He dropped his hands and frowned.

"Pfft..." I turned back around, taking the blade off his neck, "of course not..."

"Really?"

"Yuuuup...?"

"One year anniversary," he winked.

"Oohhhh..." I smiled back. "No, I didn't forget. Haah, I could've taken the day off though..."

"SO YOU DID FORGET!" He pointed at me.

"No!" I frowned. "Okay- maybe- but you know how I am when I work... I block out... dates... a lot..."

"HAH! Tell me about it," he mumbled.

"And I'm sorry about that! Cmon let's go home, then I will tell someone to clean this up..." I waved him off.

"Haah... fine," he sighed.
