I have a bet

"I bet that I can seduce William Solace by the end of winter break," Bianca smiled at Nico.

He looked back in confusion, mouth full of food, "but you're lesbian-"

"Yea-"

"And that's only- what? 2? 3? 3 weeks left?"

"Exactly, so it won't matter and I won't feel anything. C'mon, Nico, he's the hottest guy in school (also rich) and he's bi. Therefore, we both will flirt and stuff for the rest of the year and if he falls in love with one of us, that person wins," Bianca nodded her head.

"I kinda feel bad for playing with his emotions," Nico mumbled.

"It'll be fine Nico," Bianca reassured.

"If... IF, one of us... you know... succeeds, how much are we betting?" Nico leaned in.

"Mmm... 150?" She asked.

"...fine," Nico groaned.

"Nice. Oh, here he comes!" Bianca pointed to the double doors opening to the young blonde. Nico watched lazily as Will Solace entered the cafeteria.

"Alright, let's do this!" Bianca got up from the table and walked over to the unsuspecting Will.

Nico watched from afar, small laughs and smiles were exchanged, it was quite obvious that there was an awkward feeling in the air around them.

After a while, Will excused himself and walked over to his friends table, leaving Bianca to come back to Nico.

"That went well, didn't it?" Nico smiled.

"Shut up, we both aren't straight, I don't know how to flirt with guys," she rolled her eyes.

"Let the master work his magic," Nico heaved himself up from the table and walked over to Will.

Bianca watched her younger brother chat up the boy. Will looked very relaxed with Nico. He was smiling and laughing, although, it was genuine laughs. That was until Nico leaned down to whisper something into Will's ear. Hands in his pockets, a confident stance, whispering something inaudible. Will was confused at first, but then his face became bright red. He was frozen when Nico moved back up, a smirk, practically gleaming on his face. After a while, Nico walked back over to his sister, Will still looking flustered.

"That, my dear sister, is how it's done," Nico smiled at his sister. Bianca scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Okay, okay," Bianca sighed. "But what did you say?"

Nico shrugged. "That's for me and Will to know only."

"You... little bastard," she laughed.

The next few weeks, Nico and Bianca kept the bet up. Although flirted at different times, it would be obvious that they're both up to something, wouldn't it?

Bianca never got far. It was always awkward and embarrassing, but with Nico, it was calm and relaxed.

Nico found Will intriguing. He was kind and funny, so nice that Nico found himself falling in love, although he never admit it. He kept the crush to himself, but it hurt him to do this for a bet.

"Hey Nico!" Will walked up to him.

"Hi," Nico smiled, "what can I do for such a handsome guy?"

"Aww," Will blushed, "thanks... um.. it's really nothing, I just wanted to say hi."

"Hm? Really? You didn't miss me over the weekend?"

"Of course-I mean yeah, but- well, I guess-I guess I kinda did, yeah," Will stuttered out, very very flustered.
