《3rd POV》

Will and Nico have been dating for 2 years at Camp Half-Blood, and they love each other very much. Nothing got in the way of their relationship. Nothing. Even if the Aphrodite kids try and woo Will, or skeletons drag Nico away, they would fight them off and continue their relationship.

Today was capture the flag day, and Will was getting the bandages ready. Something always goes wrong at capture the flag. Always. A few new campers were being taught the rules and how to avoid injuries by team leaders. Nico was sitting outside the infirmary, waiting for Will to finish and give him words of luck.

"Angel? I'm done now," Will walked down the steps of the infirmary. Nico smiled and started putting his armor on.

"Listen to me, il mio amore, don't do anything reckless, okay? Stay safe and don't shadow travel. You'll scare others and you might get hurt. Please, doctor's orders," Will knelt on one knee and kissed Nico on the forehead.

"Alright, Solace," Nico pat him on the head before putting his helmet on.

"Aw, no kiss?" Will hugged him.

"Haha, you... seriously," Nico stood on his tippy toes to kiss Will. A lot of the new campers that were eyeing Will widened their eyes.

"WE ARE STARTING CAPTURE THE FLAG IN 5 MINUTES, GET IN YOUR POSITIONS," Chiron yelled to the campers.

"Good luck, My Love," Will hugged him one last time before going into the infirmary.

[during the game]

"Nico! Go to the left, and flank out their archers, we'll cover," Percy whispered and ran out from behind the brush.

"Got it," Nico nodded and ran left. Before he could get to the archers, the new campers cornered him.

"This is him right?" Said one girl.

"Apparently," a boy smirked.

Nico held up his Stygian sword.

"Are you the one dating that healer?" The girl asked.

"What?" Nico stared at her, not breaking his stance.

"You heard me, are you dating Will Solace?"

"What if I am?" Nico questioned.

"He's cute. I wonder what would happen if something happened to his little boyfriend," she smiled and glared. She must be an Ares kid.

Nico's eyes widened, "you wouldn't..."

"Oh I would," she raised her sword. Her friends grabbed Nico's arms and legs, holding him down. Nico struggled and cried for help, one of her friends clamped their hand on his mouth, "it's simple really, Will becomes depressed, and I come and comfort. Then we date. A life for a desire, really. You're simply a fork in the road. A pawn."

She lunged towards Nico, he closed his eyes, expecting pain. Nothing happened.

"Wha..." the girl gasped. Nico opened his eyes to see Will in front of him, smiling.

"Wi-" Nico started before Will coughing up blood. Nico looked down to see his chest, the sword directly where his heart was. A warm red circulated the wound on his shirt. The colors orange and red clashed. It was a raging war, but the red was taking over.

"Hey... sunshine," Will kept smiling, sweat dripping down his face.

"No, no, no, no, no," Nico caught Will from falling, Percy and the others appeared from the bushes. Nico put Will's head on his lap.

"NICO! WILL! Get them. Hold them," Percy ordered the rest of the team. They caught the new campers including the girl and held them down. Percy and Annabeth ran towards Nico and Will.

"Will... no, Will, don't leave me, don't-" Nico felt hot tears flowing down his eyes. Will coughed some more blood out. His tanned skin was stained with scarlet red.

"I.. had to save you, il mio amore," Will cupped Nico's face, brushing away tears, "what would I do if you left me?"

"What will I do if you leave me, Sunshine?" Nico wearily smiled. Will chuckled a bit more, tears coming out his eyes. His fingers were stained red and his siblings began to wrap Will's wounds, but Nico could already feel a warm pool of blood on his lap.

"My Angel, I love you so much, I want you to live. I... I wanted to propose to you soon, Neeks," Will weakly pulled out a box from his pocket, revealing an obsidian colored jewel, held by a celestial bronze loop. A ring.

"Will..." Nico whimpered, his lip quivering.

"I had it all set up, too," Will laughed weaker than the last, "it would be after today's game. I would pull you from the game and propose, Percy would protect us from the others... and you would say yes..."

"Will... no, no please," Nico cried.

"I love you... Nico..." Will breathed. The warm smile he always had faded, his eyes blurred. 

"...Will? Will. No, no, no, Will! WILL!!!" Nico screamed. His cries echoed throughout the forest. Chiron ran to the scene lead by Kayla, Will's half sister.

"Oh dear, is he..?" Chiron looked at Percy. Annabeth put one hand on her mouth and nodded.

"Let's bring him the infirmary," Chiron guided Will's siblings who where carrying the stretcher.

"No! No, no, don't take him away from me, no, don't... please... Will, please wake up, don't do this," Nico shook Will. Heat leaving the unmoving body. Nico cried louder and hugged Will, refusing to let him go.

Anger and hatred rose throughout Nico's shadows, "It's all their fault." Nico lunged towards the girl and her companions, but Percy and Annabeth caught him and held him back.

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT THAT WILL IS DEAD, ITS ALL YOUR FAULT BRING HIM BACK! BRING MY BOYFRIEND BACK!!" Nico cried and the ground started to crumble.

Chiron yelled to Nico to stop, but Nico couldn't hear him. Nico screamed and the ground broke under the girl, "FACE THE WRATH OF TARTARUS, YOU BITCH!" And they fell.

Nico collapsed in the hands of Percy and Annabeth.

[a week later]
《Nico POV》

"Will... was a beautiful person... kind and happy. No matter how much he hurt, he wouldn't show it... I love him so much..." I cried as my boyfriend was slowly put into the ground. Apollo rubbed my back as he saw his son lowered.

I watched everyone else leave, but I stayed. Will... he was so kind... I took the ring out of the box and placed it on my ring finger.

Will... I don't think I'll ever love again... I cried.

Hello! I'm so sorry, don't worry I cried too. The last line was actually from a manhua I read called "10 years where I loved you the most". It was really good and I highly recommend it. I got a fair share of cried from it. It's my first time doing a Solangelo Angst, so it's kinda bad. Please take a break and a breather! Happy reading!
