Nico walked through the camps on the warm sunny day. Usually he hated the sun, yes. But "doctors orders," Will told him. Apparently, Nico wasn't getting enough "Vitamin D".

He greeted other campers walked into the field of strawberries. Best part of spending all your time in Camp Half Blood, is all the strawberries. Filled to the brim with the sweet smell of strawberries. Nico bent down and picked one by the stem. He blow all the dirt off and ate it. It felt like he ate an explosion of flavor. The warm, but pleasant juices filled his mouth. He chewed for another 30 seconds before swallowing it.

"Aaaaahhhh, that was good," Nico smiled.

"What was?" Nico whirled his head around to see Percy.

"Oh hey Percy," Nico blushed from embarrassment.

"What was good?" Percy laughed.

"A... a strawberry..." Nico's head fell.

"A strawberry?" Percy bent down and ate one. "Oh hell yeah, that is good. I didn't know that they were in season this time of year."

"Percy."

"Yeah?"

"It's summer," Nico stared at him.

"..." Percy stared back, "...and?"

"Of course they're in season. It's summer," Nico responded.

"For real?"

"Yeah."

"Well shit," Percy rubbed the back of his head, "now I look stupid."

"Are you not?" Nico snickered. Percy looked hurt as someone rubbed the top of Nico's head. "Hey Annabeth."

Annabeth took off her cap and revealed herself. "That was amazing, Di Angelo."

"Woah woah woah, what's goin' on here?" Percy pointed at both of them. "Was this a scheme?"

"Of course not, Seaweed Brain. I did intend to prank you though," Annabeth smirked.

"No offense, Wise Girl, but your pranks aren't that smart... or funny," Percy sighed. Annabeth looked at Nico and he shook his head.

"Hmm... gotta work on that," Annabeth pondered. "So! Whatcha doin' here, Nico?"

"... doctor's orders," Nico muttered.

"What was that?" Percy leaned in.

"Doctors orders!" Will walked towards them, dodging the ridges where the strawberries grew.

"Hey, Solace! You on break?" Percy high fived him.

"Oh, gods. Ares kids just don't know mercy," Will shuttered. "I finally got a weekend break, in like a billion years."

"It's been 2 weeks, Solace," Nico rolled his eyes.

"Same thing," Will shrugged. "So what's the hoohaa here?"

"I don't know," Nico shrugged.

"I see... I'm going to go get some grub, I'm starving. Neeks, wanna be my buddy?" Will held his hand out. Sighing, Nico took it out of embarrassment and walked away with his boyfriend.

"Aww, that's cute," Annabeth smiled.

"That's kinda fruity," Percy snickered. Annabeth smacked him on the back and walked away. "Wait for me! Annabeth! Wait, it was a joke!"

My original idea was "that's kinda gay" but I just went with "that's kinda fruity" bc it worked out better since they're in a strawberry field. I got this idea from my parents telling me to go outside more bc I don't go outside very often. Constant topic in my household is that "I don't get enough vitamin D".
