____________________________________Here I am. Sitting on the couch, being confronted by my parents.

"Have a boyfriend yet?" Mom asked.

"Mom-" I started.

"Nico, we just want to know," Dad interjected.

"Dad!" I turned my head to him.

"Nico, you know we support you and everything, but our friends are asking if you... made the right decision-" Mother started.

"Mom, I didn't decide to become gay," I frowned.

"I know, I know, but-" Mom started.

"Yes! Yes, I have a boyfriend," I lied.

"Oh great!" Mother clapped her hands together. "Perhaps you can bring him to Hazel's engagement party-?"

"Fine, fine," I sighed. "I'll ask him."

"Excellent," my father smiled.

I'm so fucking screwed.

Now I need to find a boyfriend.

"You can ask a friend," Annabeth shoved chips in her mouth, laying on Nico's bed.

"Don't eat on my bed, you're gonna get crumbs on it!" I smacked her leg.

"Chill, chill," she got up.

"Hmm, who do you know that would work?" Percy swiveled on the swivel chair Nico had in his room.

"No one, that's the thing," Nico groaned.

"Who do I know that's gay..." Percy thought out loud. "Oh, I know someone whose bi."

"Can you set up a meeting? I don't have many options and the party is in a month," I asked.

"Wow, you're desperate," Annabeth raised her eyebrows.

"I honestly couldn't care about looks or anything, just someone who is willing to be fake dating me so my parents will stop nagging me- that's all I want," I sighed.

"I can see if he's down for that," Percy shrugged. "Also, a month's not that bad... but if that's what you want-" Percy added from the glare Annabeth and I gave him.

"Hi," Percy's friend smiled and sat down on the seat in front of me. "Nice to meet you."

"Likewise," I replied.

"So... fake dating?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Yes- my sister is getting engaged and I personally don't want to be swarmed with people asking about my love life," I shrugged.

He squinted his eyes at me, "shouldn't we get to know each other first? In case... I don't know, swarming relatives?"

"Ah, yes," I nodded my head.

"Alright I guess I'll go first... um... my names Will, I'm a doctor. Specifically, a child physician. I love kids. I like to read in my free time. I have a lot of siblings. And my favorite color is yellow, and I'm bi," he shrugged.

"Nice to meet you, Will," I smiled. He smiled back at me. "Guess it's my turn- um, my names Nico, I'm a writer. I don't like kids, but I can handle them. My favorite color is... black probably, I don't care for shade, I like to play card games in my free time, I have 2 siblings and I am gay."

"You're a writer? That's neat, any books?" Will leaned back into his chair.

"Yes, I wrote Incantation Chronicles (this isn't a real book, I just made it up on the spot ;])," I tilted my head.
