1. Tyson

Nico walked into the Poseidon Cabin to grab his mythomagic stack he had left the night prior kicking Percy's ass.

He felt a presence behind him, but certainly was not expecting Percy's half-brother staring back at him in confusion.

"Um... hi?" Nico asked. "I thought Poseidon cabin had stable duty right now?"

"Yeah we do," Tyson agreed, nodding his head. "I just wanted to grab my special shovel."

"Okay... but... isn't your shovel over there?" Nico pointed to the other side of the cabin.

"It is," Tyson continued to stare at Nico, making him slightly uncomfortable.

"Then... can I help you?" Nico asked.

"No, not really... you just..." Tyson looked up in thought as if to think of the right way to say what's on his mind, "smell different."

"I smell different?" Nico asked, almost disgusted.

"Not like that," Tyson waved him off apologetically, "just... you don't smell like death that much right now."

"Well then what do I 'smell' like right now?" Nico sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Like sunshine," the cyclops smiled.

Tyson watched as Nico's face went from disgust to shock, from tanned skin to a bright red.

"Did I... say something wrong?" Tyson asked.

"Eck- no," Nico choked out, "um... I'll catch you later, Tyson, I got what I needed."

"Okay, Nico," Tyson waved in confusion as the son of hades scrambled out of the cabin.

2. Piper

Nico and Piper had a pretty good relationship. Well, besides Nico being Piper's ex's best friend, they had a decent relationship. They egged on Jason's habits and were equally judgmental towards others about most things.

One day, when the Aphrodite and Hades cabins both had a free block in their schedule, Piper found Nico sitting by himself at the tables reading a book. She figured, what the hell, might as well say hi and hang out. After all, they still had half an hour left in their block.

"Hey Neeks," she said as she sat down at the table. She looked up to find a weirded expression on Nico's face. "... what?"

"Why did you call me that?" Nico asked.

"Well... I don't know," Piper shrugged, "I thought... I could've sworn..."

"Could've sworn what?"

"Nothing, I just thought that..." someone else calls you that. Was lingering on her tongue.

Nico looked at her, squinting his eyes as if trying to figure her out.

"Never mind, wanna hang out for the rest of the block?" Piper asked.

Nico looked at the clock over the tables and shrugged, "sure why not."

"Cool, anyway, did you see what Conner did to Clovis and the Hypnos cabin?" Piper asked.

"Yeah, talk about nightmares for a week, that guy should've thought twice about something like that," Nico rolled his eyes, continuing to talk about the lousy job of one of the Stolls.

Piper smiled and listened along, but a part of her was still curious on who called Nico that.... Oh well, she'll figure it out later.
