"No! Get them out of here! I don't want them to see me like this, no no..."

 "Oh gosh, you didn't see anything, please forget about this... Your mother, she's just"

"Y/n... Y/n!" Kanroji said with a worried tone as she lightly shook your shoulders, shaking the tree branch you stood upon in the process "Huh, yes. Sorry Kanroji-san, I dazed off" you spoke as you looked down at the ground "Are you okay? You could fall back from our mission if you want" Kanroji asked as she brought her hand to her forehead, checking for a fever "I'm fine really" you said with a nervous chuckle as you shook your hands in front of you. 

"Hmm, if you say so... Oh! You're going on a joint mission with Rengoku-san, right?" Kanroji breathed out "Yeah, we're departing in a week or two, Rengoku-san wants to find out more information first. He claims it might be one of the twelve kizuki's doing" you replied with a nervous chuckle as you rubbed the back of your neck. 

"Rengoku-san is really strong and amazing, so I'm sure you have nothing to worry about!" Kanroji beamed as she gave you a large smile, but soon enough the moment of peace and joy would soon come to an end "Kanroji-san" you spoke out "the demons here, let's go!" Kanroji yelled as she leapt down from the tree and began to run towards the village, you did the same and weren't very far behind. 

You inhaled through your nose 'there are two demons one on the west side and the other on the east, Kanroji-san is heading east so that leaves me no choice but to go west' you thought as you changed your course and began running towards the demon west of the village.

 You ran, jumping roof to roof following the faint growls the demon made.

 You jumped down from the roof and before you a demon not one but two demons. The demons tore apart and ravened the body of a male.

  Seventh Petal: Striking Petal 

You raised your blade and with a swift motion, you cut the heads of the demons clean off. The demons coughed out insults at you, but you ignored their harsh words, your attention was on the man that laid before.

 His body was completely mangled, most of his bones were completely visible, the wrinkles on his face looked as though he was screaming and crying, he must have felt so much pain.

 "Can you save him" the faint voice of Kanroji was heard, you paused still looking down at the body "He's dead, I can't heal him. I can't bring back those who have died, I've already tried to with Shinobu-san?" you said with a frown as you looked up at the love hashira who stood next to you. 

Kanroji's lips formed a fine line and for the first time, you saw the love hashira sad. 

"The sun is coming up" Kanroji spoke out "Yeah it is" you replied, the two of you fled the scene when the kakushi arrived Kanroji went to meet up with Iguro and you went back to the butterfly estate.

You guys are going on a mission with Rengoku-san, the flame pillar. The mission will take place on a train, many swordsmen have been sent but were either killed or went missing, the ones that went missing were assumed dead. 

It'd be a shame if your healing ability stopped working:)
