A months later

During this past month, you and Tokitou continued to go on many missions with each other, the time you had been spending together created a great friendship. Despite Tokitou's bad attitude and tendency to forget things, he's remembered every single thing you've told him about yourself, you doing the same for him.

"Tokitou-kun" you said in an exaggerating tone "What're we doing here?" You whined as you tilted your head back to look up at the sky. 

"We're looking for a boy, he has the key to a training tool" Tokitou replied. Earlier that morning Tokitou woke you up from your slumber telling you that the two of you were going to the swordsmith village.

"Well, what's his name?" You asked, Tokitou stopped in his tracks and tapped his temple with his finger "Uhmm" he hummed "Seriously!?" You groaned.

"Are you sure this is his place?" You asked, after doing some digging and asking other swordsmiths for answers the two of you might've found the male you were looking for.

The two of out stood outside of his home in front of his front door.

You brought your hand up to knock when Tokitou suddenly opened the door and walked in "Hey! Hey, what're you doing?!" You whispered loudly as you watched the male walk down the halls. 

"Dammit" you grumbled as you walked in, making sure to close the door behind you. "Tokitou?" You called out as you walked down the hall you came across a corner and around that corner stood Tokitou "What're you doing?" You spoke out as you walked towards the male.

Tokitou was standing in the doorway of a room "here it is" he spoke out as he turned his head to face you "What is it?" You asked as you peaked into the room. In the room stood a doll.

"A doll?" You questioned "it's a mechanical doll, it doesn't matter if we found it because we need the key to power it" Tokitou replied. "Ohhh, I see," you said.

"Hey!! You two, what're you doing in my house!?" A voice yelled out from behind.

Both you and Tokitou turned your heads to see who the voice belongs to, standing down the hall was a young boy, wearing a similar mask to the other swordsmiths "Are you Kotetsu?" You asked the boy.

"Do you have the key?" Tokitou asked as he walked towards the male "Gah! You can't have it!!" Kotetsu panicked as he ran out of the back door that was beside him at the end of the hall.

"He ran" Tokitou mumbled "Well no shit, we just intruded into his home. What do you think he's gonna do bake us cookies and give us the key?" You spat out.

Tokitou looked back and scrunched his nose at you, you returning the gesture. 

"Let's go after him" Tokitou spoke out as he walked towards the door Kotetsu ran out of, you followed Tokitou "His backyard is a forest, how convenient" you grumbled "Can you follow his scent?" Tokitou asked as he side-eyed you "I guess so" you replied.

You closed your eyes and took in a large breath through your nose "He went that way" you said as you pointed your finger "I can see his figure off in the distance too and hear his footsteps and his panting" you said.
