One month later

'My stomach' you thought as your eyes slowly fluttered open. 'The butterfly estate' you thought as you looked around at your surroundings, recognizing the room you were in.

'My stomach hurts so much as you pulled yourself up into a sitting position and you then pulled your shirt up so you could look at your stomach.

Your eyes widened on your stomach laid a horrendous scar. "It happened when you tried to heal Rengoku" a female voice spoke out, you looked up and Shinobu stood there in the doorway.

"Shinobu-san... Heal Rengoku-san? What do you mean what..." you spoke out and then suddenly remember the incident and the train.

"Rengoku-san?! Is he okay?!!" You yelled as you jumped up onto your knees, a frown formed on Shinobu's as she looked down at the ground.

"I'm quite alright" a male voice boomed and a few seconds later there walked in the flame hashira.

"Rengoku-san!" You cried out as you went to hug the male "it's alright! I'm doing just fine thanks to you! As the former flame hashira, I feel quite ashamed of myself because I am the reason that one of my juniors were asleep for a month" Rengoku said as he patted your head.

"Former? A month?" You mumbled, "You were in a coma for a month" Shinobu spoke out "And I had to retire as the flame pillar due to my wounds!" Rengoku spoke up "I was sure that I was going to die that night but thanks to you, I got to live another day" Rengoku continued.

"I managed to heal you?" You mumbled "you were only able to heal him because you forced it and I'm assuming that is what caused the scar on your stomach," Shinobu said as she walked over to the two of you and forced you to sit on the bed.

"Rengoku, I don't mean to be rude but can you excuse the two of us," Shinobu said as she crossed her arms across her chest, you noticed an irk mark on the female's hand and she wore a forced smile.

"Of course! I will take my leave!" Rengoku spoke out as he left the room closing the door behind him. He knew that Y/n had a horrid lecture awaiting her.

"Y/n... You managed to heal Rengoku and I'm grateful for that but I told you that if you were to try and heal someone while being injured and exhausted it could lead to your death but you did not listen to my words. If you were to die that would be a great loss for the demon slayer corps it's because of you that our numbers aren't changing. I was informed of what had happened, you sat there and watched the battle when you should have left because if the demon had beaten Rengoku sooner he would have taken you back to Muzan Kibutsuji and if that would have happened the demon slayer corps would have lost the war, the war between humans and demons would be decided. You were irresponsible and indecisive and because of that, the demon slayer corps could have lost. And there are now new restrictions with you, you are to be with one of the hashira at all times starting now and for the next thirty days, you are to stay in the butterfly estate and join me on my missions and if you're not completely healed by then you will stay here until your completely healed and then you'll switch to Himejima-san's care for a month and then you will switch over into, Shinazugawa's care and then Uzui's care for a month and then you'll switch to Iguro's care, Muichiro-Kun and then the rest will be decided from thereon. If I catch you overworking yourself I will have no choice but to let Aoi do her traditional punishment and spank you, I hope I make myself clear. Here's your uniform get dressed and Aoi will come and give you your instructions" Shinobu said as she passed you your uniform and left the room.

"Jeez, Shinobu-san can be scary," you said as you removed the current uniform you were wearing, you removed pants and began to unbutton your shirt.

The door to your room then slammed open "Hey! Get out on changing!!" You yelled as you brought your arms up to cover your chest you then turned around and saw five familiar females. Aoi, Kanao, Sumi, Kiyo and Naho.

"What is wrong with you!! You could have died! Do you know how many times I watched your heart monitor stop and start up again!" Aoi yelled as she began to cry.

"You need a traditional punishing!" Aoi yelled as she stomped towards you "Hey, hey! No, I don't I'm fine really!" You yelled as you hopped onto the bed.

"Get her Aoi-san!" Sumi yelled, "We'll hold her down!" Naho yellows "Yeah! Come on Kanao-sama!!" Kiyo yelled "okay" Kanao whispered, the five girls then hanged upon you.

"Aoi spanked you?" Shinobu said a quiet giggle left her lips "yeah, Kanao even helped her" you said with a frown.

"Kanao? Kanao was quite upset when she found out how injured you were. She would often sit at the side of your bed patiently waiting for you to wake up, I know she doesn't show it but she cares deeply about you" Shinobu spoke out as a smile plastered onto her face.

"Shinobu-san" you spoke out "hmm?" She responded "I like it when I smell other emotions from you, you always smell so angry," you said.

"Hmm, this may or may not be the first time you've heard about it but my parents were torn apart in front of me and my older sister, Kanae Kocho, she died in my arms" Shinobu replied.

Your eyes widen unsure of what to say, whether you should comfort the girl or try to relate to her.

"Gaaaahh!!" A shrieking scream echoed in the night. Both you and Shinobu jumped off of the roof the two of you sat on and rushed towards the sound of the scream.

The two of you arrived in a back lane a demon was in the back lane hovering over a human. "Shinobu-san the space is too narrow! I can't use my blade!" You said "retrieve the male and check if he has any wounds," Shinobu said as she unsheathed her katana "got it" you yelled as you ran towards the demon and the human male.

You slid in between the legs of the demon, grabbing the male and leaping onto a nearby roof.

Shinobu then leapt into the air and charged towards the demon, stabbing him six times with her blade. Each stab allowed more poison into the body of the demon.

Shinobu did a summersault when she landed on the ground, the demon stood there just realizing what had happened 'she moves so fast' the demon thought and soon enough the air fills with his shrieks of pain.

Shinobu's poison was taking effect.

"Is he injured?" Shinobu asked as she approached you and the male "he had a small scratch on his forearm but I healed him" you replied "understood" Shinobu replied.

The time you spent with Shinobu went by faster than expected. The two of you had many many join missions you had spent a lot of your time practicing your healing ability and being lectured by Aoi every time you healed someone because you were "overworking" yourself.

"You're going to stay with Himejima-sama now, right?" Sumi asked as she held onto your hand "Yup" you replied, "so that means your leaving the butterfly estate?" Naho said, Holding your other hand as a frown formed onto her face "yeah" you said with a nervous chuckle.

"Make sure to come and visit us!!" Kiyo yelled out she was holding onto Naho's hand "I will" you said with a chuckle.
