"Can I get that?" Tokitou said as he pointed at a sign with a poorly drawn and coloured candy apple "Ofcourse kiddo, what do you want it one? I have chocolate, strawberry or caramel drizzle?" The male asked "...Caramel" Tokitou replied. 

"C'mon right up," the male said as he began to heat up the somewhat melted caramel, the caramel melted pretty fast just not as fast as Tokitou wanted.

The man dipped the apple into the bowl of caramel, twisting it thoroughly in the process "Here you go kiddo" the male said as he handed the treat along with some napkins to Tokitou, Tokitou took the apple and napkins and walked off back to where he left you.

"She's gone" he mumbled as he turned his side to side, trying to spot you "What a strong flowery scent" Tokitou mumbled as he smelt the floral scent in the air.

Two females walked past Tokitou, Tokitou overheard their conversation as they walked by

"It's so upsetting having to offer such young women every night," one of them said

"Soon enough we'll have to offer married or engaged women" the other one shivered

'The offering has begun?' Tokitou grumbled as he wrapped the candy apple in the napkins, and placed it in his pockets, thankfully the caramel had hardened so it wouldn't be so messy.

Tokitou began running towards the edge of the town to where the shrine stairs began, the closer he got the stronger the floral fragrance became. 

Soon enough Tokitou arrived at the stairs, a group of women were walking away from the stairs as he approached them and in that group of women was the daughter of the fruit stand "This idiot" Tokitou sneered as he leapt up the stairs.

Once he reached the top there was nothing, he was met with the empty grounds of the shrine.

Panic came over Tokitou despite how forgetful he was he didn't forget how special you were but most of all he feared that he failed Oyakata-sama.

'The floral scent is her and it's even stronger up here so she's close by' Tokitou thought as he leapt on the tip of a tree trying to get a better few.

"She's close by" he mumbled as he turned his head in all directions trying to spot you, Tokitou then looked down and reflecting on the moonlight was a dome-shaped object covering the shrine grounds.

On the very top of the sphere gave off a reflection like water, he could barely see through it. He leapt at the dome without any hesitation or concern for his own well-being. Tokitou crashed through the sphere, a grunt left his mouth as he landed on the ground.

In the middle of the ground was a demon, the demon had a tearful girl who had been stripped of her clothing pinned under him.

Tokitou had felt extremely angry at the sight and lunged at the demon, the demon stood up from Y/n's body and raised both of his hands swiftly.

Blood Demon Technique: Reflection Halls

You tilted your neck back to look at who or what made the crashing noise, you were still unable to move your body completely. Tokitou stood a few meters away but his figure soon disappeared 'He's gone?!' You thought as you looked around.

"There gone" Tokitou mumbled.

 'No, no... He's still there It's...' 

"Tokitou-kun! His ability has something to do with illusions!" You yelled out.

"Wow, you're such a smart girl, huh?" The demon spoke out as he tapped your cheek a few times "Now I gotta deal with this piece of shit now" the demon grumbled as he stood up and walked towards Tokitou's direction. 

You were unable to see the two boys due to the demons technique and you were unable to move, so all you could do was listen to the sounds of grunting, clashing and the sound of blood spilling onto the concrete.

You laid there hoping for the best.

It all went silent, the sound of fighting disappeared the only thing heard was the sound of a body falling and heavy pants.

Your stomach felt sick and fear came over you. Your body began to twitch and you were somewhat able to move. You used your arms to push yourself up into a sitting position, you curled your legs to your side.

You turned your head to look behind you, making sure to rest your weight on your arm. Just before you turned your head all the way a fabric covered the top of your body and your face was met with that of Tokitou's.

"You're okay!?" You breathed out "Did you think I died?" He said in a blunt tone "no..." you mumbled, a sigh left your mouth "I'm just glad that you're okay".

Tokitou hummed in response he soon knelt down and grabbed something from his pocket.

"Here," he mumbled as he pulled out a candy apple, the apple behind covered in napkins "You got it for me?" You mumbled as a smile appeared on your face "Thank you" you said as you grabbed the apple from his hands.

"Let's go back" Tokitou spoke out as he stood up "Haha, I can't move my legs," you said as you rubbed the back of your neck. Tokitou glared down at you as he knelt down once more and picked you up bridal style.
