"Hmm, why were you desperately protecting this shack" Gyokko hummed as he opened the door of the shack.Gyokko's eyes were met with the back of a swordsmith who payed no attention to Gyokko's entry.
But instead the swordsmith continued to work on the blade he was grinding.
"This is great iron"
"This is a great blade... I've never seen such skill, how outstanding"The swordsmith muttered to himself.
'A human, a young human. His flesh looks like he's no more than 40 years, he can't be the chief' Gyokko thought.
"Who made this thing? If someone could forge a blade like this... Why would they leave this one character but not their full name?...But I understand I really do" Hagenezuka muttered to himself.
'This man! That's some serious concentration, he's so lost in his work that he hand noticed the marvellous Gyokko!!' Gyokko thought as he starred at the swordsmiths back with utter shock.
'He... He makes me angry, I've never been that concentrated in my work before as an artist I can't let him beat me!' Gyokko thought.
Suddenly a pot appeared from Gyokko's hand, a fish with claws whipped itself at Hagenezuka, gashes and cuts formed along Hagenezuka's body but he had shown no sign of distress or pain instead he continued to work on the sword before him.
The anger that Gyokko had only grew, Hagenezuka still paid no attention to the demon behind him.
"This man..." Gyokko muttered in an angered tone as he prepared to let out another attack.
As he did he felt the sting of a steel blade push into the skin on his neck, from the corner of his eye he saw, the blue spider Lily's keeper.
But she had become different.
The markings on her body was what he had noticed first, they had become much more defined, deeper and they spread up her neck, and down her right arm.
Her ridged breathing rang in his ears, her veins popping out of her skin and the angered expression she held.
Gyokko formed a new pot across from the room and quickly vanished into it, with the one he was in disappearing.
How? I was sure she was dying, so I paid no attention. No, but... That's how deeply I was concentrating, Good!! What's with the mark, it expanded? Gyokko thought.
How was she able to wound me faster than before? He thought once again.
Y/n leapt at the demon, using the blade Sanemi had given her. As the blade she had trained with Mitsuri was no where in her sight.
Gyokko summoned another pot and using a blood demon art.
Octopus Vase Hell!
Tentacles of an octopus came rushing out of the small pot, breaking through the shed and shoving everything in its path aside.
"Y/n-sama!!" Kanamori yelled from outside the shed, holding the girls blade but soon was wrapped within the wrath of the tentacles.
Hagenezuka well pushed a distance away despite that he held no reaction and continued to work on the blade in front of him.
While Y/n and Kanamori were held up in the air by the tentacles.
"He's still sharpening?... But that's alright the keeper comes first!" Gyokko muttered. The tentacles grip began to tighten.
Within the tentacle Y/n's and Kanamori's hands brushed against one another despite the pressure Y/n had managed to grab ahold of her blade.
"Hyo Hyo, I went too easy on you before, but this time I'll crush you over and over and then bring you to my master" Gyokko said as the tentacles around you tighten, crushing various bones.
Although you held no reaction.
But instead with a swift motion of wiping your blade you managed to cut through the tentacles, the tentacles fell to the ground with a splatter.
Kanamori fell to the ground while Y/n landed on her feet.
"You brought me my sword... You have my thanks, Kanamori" you muttered.
Gyokko watched, unimpressed.
'It doesn't matter how many times I injure her, she'll only regenerate, it's like a fight with another demon. Hyo! I wonder if there's a way to kill her?' Gyokko thought.
Within a second Gyokko sent more tentacles in Y/n's direction.
Second Petal: Swirling Blue
Y/n ran towards the tentacles and cut them all down, she then headed straight for Gyokko
Y/n whipped her blade at the demon only for him to disappear. "That's some fast chopping, but you can't match how quickly I move through the vases" Gyokko exclaimed.
Gyokko had now been up in a tree.
"It seems your senses have become dull" Y/n remarked when suddenly gashes opened up all over Gyokko's body.
Gyokko let out a quiet gasp, surprised the girl had struck him.
"Don't mock me, girl" he threatened.
No, I was wrong. Fighting her isn't like fighting a demon, unlike us demons we won't fall tired from our regeneration or swift movements but her, she does. So, all I have to do is ware her down. Gyokko thought with a grin.
"My my! What is this? Are you assisting her battle again? The master would be enraged if he found out" the male taunted.
"Tch, what of it? Are you going to snitch on me?" She spat.
"Perhaps you do love the girl, would you mind telling me what is feels like to love?" He asked.
"Fuck off!!" She scowled...
