You had been walking through the swordsmith village, it's been two days since Tokitou had trained with the doll. You departed with Tokitou for a little bit telling him that you wanted to go look around in the village and check out the hot springs.

You hummed to yourself as you walked through the village, the village wasn't as calm as you thought it'd be. There were swordsmiths rushing around and the sound of clanking replayed over over 'It's so loud' you groaned as you brought your hands to your ears but of course, that did nothing.

"Stupid enhanced earing" you grumbled as you kicked a rock on the ground.

"Look is that her?"

"Mhm, I think so"

In the corner of your eye noticed two swordsmiths standing at the edge of the forest, pointing at you and whispering at one another. You turned your head to look at them, a gasp left their mouths as they ran off into the trees.

"Hey!!" You yelled as you ran towards the trees, you were about to enter the forest when suddenly someone called out to you "Y/n" the voice whined in a groggy tone. You looked behind you to see who the voice belonged to.

"Tanjiro?" You spoke out, you examined the boy he had bruises and cuts all over him. He was missing his shirt, he was limping and he had massive eyebags "Are you okay? What happened to you?... And your clothes?" You asked as you walked towards the male.

You now stood in front of the red-haired boy, his hair wasn't neatly combed to the side anymore "Jeez, what'd you do?" You asked as you pulled a hair strand away from his face "...Kotetsu he..." Tanjiro mumbled but then he had fallen forward.

You caught the boy, his head landed on the crook of your neck and his arms dangled down in front of you "Hey?... Tanjiro?" You spoke out as you patted the male's back but you received no response.

"Aghh" Tanjiro groaned and he fluttered his eyes open "huh?" He groaned as he turned his head left and right "What?" He groaned as the red-haired boy sat up and looked around once more. 

"Oh, you're awake" 

Tanjiro turned his head to the source of the voice, he saw you walking into the room with a tray containing a kettle and two empty cups stacked on one another, "Do you feel any pain anywhere?" You asked as you used your foot to push the door closed.

'N... No, what happened?" Tanjiro asked "I don't know but earlier you came out of nowhere and passed out on me" you replied as you sat down beside the futon and began pouring the tea into the two cups "Really?" Tanjiro questioned as he looked down at his hands, which he had been fiddling with.

"So what happened?" You asked as you handed the boy a cup "Careful it's hot" you added as Tanjiro took the cup from your hands. Tanjiro looked at the liquid inside the cup, he blew on on them and then took a sip.

You had looked at the tea as if he was concentrating real hair, he furrowed his brows "Oh! Right, what happened to Kotetsu?" You asked, Tanjiro groaned as he wrinkled his nose a large frown formed on his face as he remembered.

"Yes! Tanjiro with this doll, I will put in all of my strength to help you become stronger than that emotionless jerk and that meathead girl! I will help you become stronger" 

"Jeez, so for the past few days, he hasn't been letting you get any rest or food, huh? Trying to make you stronger than me and Tokitou, huh...?" You said as you rubbed your tongue against your back teeth. 

"Hey Tanjiro, let's say you were stronger than me would you have treated me differently, belittled me for it or... Perhaps would have taken advantage of it..." You said as you crouched up and tilted your head to the side, in front of your knees.

"I can smell all sorts of things radiating off of people, one of those things are being able to smell how someone feels for another person, Tanjiro... Do you have feelings for me" you said in a low tone as you kneeled closer to the boy.

You brushed a strand of the boy's hair behind his ear, Tanjiro's cheeks tinted pink as he stared at you aimlessly.

"Just kidding!" You exclaimed as you jumped up "I gotta go head to the workshop to get some final touches done on my katana..." You said as you began to walk out the door "... Oh right, Nezuko's right over there if your gonna let her out of the box I'd suggest closing the window curtains first" you said as you walked out of the room, closing the door behind you.

"She's changed so much after spending all this time with Tokitou" Tanjiro breathed out.

You walked out of the room making sure to close the door behind you, you were adjusting your belt when you heard raspy breathing. You looked up and saw a familiar boy standing down the hall "Oh, Kotetsu" you spoke out.

"...Where is he?" Kotetsu spoke out "Tanjiro? He's in that room right there" you replied as you pointed to a door that was a few feet away from you "Thank you" Kotetsu replied as he walked past "Mhm" you replied.

After you added a few adjustments to your katana you decided to take a well-awaited visit to the hot springs.

"Gaaah, this is so nice" you groaned as you dipped your body in the warm water, you relaxed in the water for quite some time 'It smells like dangos and honey' you thought as you tilted your head back into the water 'What a familiar scent'.

The sound of humming filled your ears, the sound of a familiar tune.

"Kanroji-san!?" You yelled out as you jolted up and to your surprise, you saw the love pillar standing on the rims of the hot spring.

"Kyaaaaa! Y/n!" Kanroji exclaimed as she jumped into the water and rushed over to you "It's been so long since we've last seen each other!? How've you been!?" She asked as you took you into a big bear hug.

Kanroji began to swing you left and right, you felt her chest rub against yours "Gaah! Kanroji, let me go!" You yelled as you tried pushing her off. Your struggling had caused the two of you to fall in the water but of course, the two of you laughed it off and spent your time together talking about things you've done in the past two months, missions, your time with Tokitou, Kanroji had mentioned a few lunches she'd shared with Iguro.
