"Wh-what?"
At the worried, even panicked looks of Rey and Bango, to say the least, the young woman turned her eyes to Ben who shrugged, letting her continue her explanation.
"There are spells among the Nightsisters, all sorts of rituals related to Dark Magic but... There is one that is very rarely used because not only does it require a great deal of strength, but it is very dark magic. Dathomirians only use it as a last resort and only when they find themselves up against the wall."
"The Resurrection Spell?"
Ly'ra nodded before sighing.
"It allows us to resurrect dead Sisters in order to grow our army in case of invasion or attack. Most of us refuse to use it because it is considered dangerous and impure."
In turn, Rey let out a sigh of frustration before pursing her lips.
"So some Dathomirians, the ones who left your clan, are helping the Knights resurrect Sidious? Is that what you're saying?"
"At least they're going to try..."
Ben looked at the two girls before taking a second to think. Then he turned to the whole group and pointed at Bango.
"Okay, then we'll take care of this mission. Bango, you go into the cockpit and take care of the Scrambler. And we'll take care of the Knights."
The next moment, the young Jedi was overwhelmed with questions from all sides.
"You want me to go alone?!"
"Well, there won't be enough of us!"
"And what about the Troopers?"
At the same time, and before he could reassure everyone, the Stormtrooper squad came around the corner of a corridor. Ben reacted quickly and drew his sword before attacking. The troopers didn't stand a chance and fell before they could return fire. The Jedi's speed had surprised everyone, leaving Rey, Ly'ra and Bango speechless at his action. The next moment, Ben faced them again and shrugged silently, a slight grimace of satisfaction and pride appearing on his face.
"That's one less problem. Bango, you're a soldier, and by the looks of your scanner, there are only two people in the cockpit, you can handle them just fine. As for us girls, we're going to take care of the Knights and the Dathomirians before they can carry out their plan. But for that, we're going to need some backup..."
*******
Not really wanting to know what kind of Jedi weirdness Ben was going to get his friends into, Bango stomped off, quickly making his way to the flight deck. Indeed, there were only two people, a man and a woman. He plucked up courage and grabbed his blaster. He pointed it at the back of the senior officer, took a deep breath and pulled the trigger. The man went down with a grunt and Bango swore. He had missed the heart. Unfortunately, the co-pilot reacted quickly and began to shoot back. The young computer scientist found refuge behind a wall, silently insulting Ben for sending him off alone to complete this part of the mission.
"Die rebel!"
Surprised by the determination and hysteria of the female officer, Bango raised an eyebrow before giving a slight chuckle. Digging into his bag, he unearthed a blinding bomb which he activated before throwing it into the cockpit.
"Three, two, one..."
An explosion sounded, followed by a scream of agony. The young man entered the cockpit, holstering his blaster and grabbing the two officers' weapons. The man was unconscious, but the woman was screaming as if she were about to die. Bango sighed before taking the butt of his weapon and sending it into her jaw, knocking the bawling woman out for a little while.
