But I am not barren
There are fields and orchards within me
And great gushing waterfalls
And through my lungs a wind does blow
A mighty gust he gives
When there are places that need seeing
Or sometimes, just to live
And in my heart there is a sun
Like a fountain ebbs and flows
Keeping his pastures a fruitful green
Oh, how he comes and goes
And in my veins, a river runs
Through his tiny ports
He carries with him the things I love
And never strays off course
So you see, I do have life inside me
Though I may not seem much
You can hear it in my voice at times
But not close enough to touch
