Invasion At UA - Age Sixteen
Deciding once again to find my own way to school was surprisingly peaceful, I awoke on time with little discrepancies. Getting used to this routine is easier than I thought it would be- maybe I'm actually a really motivated person but just never realised...
Probably not.
My pleasant stroll is interrupted as I reach the UA gates, only to find it to be crowded by a swarm of newscasters? Is there someone famous here? I notice a camera which causes my eyes to widen.
I can't be on TV...
I scan my eyes over the surrounding area, searching for any sign of Aizawa, when I find none. I immediately activate my quirk, teleporting inside the school gates, away from the crowd of reporters.
"Do you ever listen to a thing I say?" I hear the tired voice of Aizawa grumble from directly behind me. Shit- I teleported right in front of him.
He smacks the back of my head before rolling his eyes as he makes his way to ward off the crowd of media. I can't help but find it amusing, watching him attempt to banish a group of persistent reporters. I chuckle to myself before turning and making my way to class.
I would help... but... nah.
I place myself into the same seat I claimed yesterday, once locating the classroom for the third time. Conversations of other students pass my ears as I rest my head in my hand.
As seconds pass, I find my eyelids growing heavier and heavier, until I have to stop myself from dropping unconscious on my desk. My brows furrow as I blink, realising that perhaps I'm not used to this 'routine' at all, and have just been forcing myself to stay awake the whole time.
I sigh to myself, allowing my eyes to close as I drop my head onto the desk, attempting to catch some sleep while Aizawa's absent.
"Ama-NE!" Ochako's joyous voice calls out as she enters the room. I immediately snap my eyes open, completely energised once again just by her presence.
"Ochako?" I giggle at her excitement, lifting my head to meet her gaze as her pink cheeks pinch up with a grin.
"Good morning!" She sings to me, poking my head gently. My mind spins at how much of a ray of sunshine she appears to be.
"You're so cute." I almost wince to her under my breath, before slamming my head onto the table with a stupid grin.
She's so perfect.
Ochako goes to respond, yet is interrupted when Aizawa slams the door open. The class immediately silences and take their seats. I force back my stupid smile before raising my head from the table.
Aizawa narrows his eyes at me, mad for no reason. He steps to the front of class before announcing that we have to decide on a class president.
A what?
Most students begin to offer themselves for the job, all the while I'm still trying to figure out what a class president is. I glance to Aizawa for help but he simply shrugs at me before falling into his sleeping bag. Thanks for the help, buddy. Iida suggests we hold a vote.
Me, still being utterly clueless, assumes it's some sort of competition. Should I just vote for myself?
I glance down to the piece of paper, deciding to just write Ochako's name.
O...
Osho..
No... How'd you...?
