Amane Suzuya
"This place is like a fuckin' maze." I grumble, narrowing my eyes at the metal interiors of the multiple corridors Tomura and I have navigated through.
"Makes sense. It'll confuse the unwelcome." He retorts, also eyeing the surrounding area to keep track of his whereabouts. I understand the importance of being hidden, but these endless hallways make me feel like I'm tripping balls.
"You remember everything?" Tenko asks down to me, the hand on his face shielding his expression. I side eye him, a stupid smirk inching onto my lips.
"Like an elephant, Boss." I hum, clutching my hands together behind my back. Tomura narrows is eyes down to me for a moment before allowing a sinister smile to form on his features. He feels no desire to speak up on the sudden adrenaline rush that floods through him at the idea of him and I, once again, being a collective threat.
This used to be our bread and butter. Just him and I. Against everything. Sure, he hated me, and I was a snot nosed kid with too much power, but it didn't matter, we still fucked everyone up. He talked, and I burned everything to shit. We alone are the only two people on the planet who have stood before All For One and gained his trust, he chose us, and only us, to be his successors.
Not that it's a true accolade to me, he's a creepy old guy who kidnaps and grooms children. But, Tenko thinks differently about the whole ordeal, clearly.
"Good." He growls. The unwarranted praise unwillingly causes my cheeks to pinch up into a small smile as we reach a seemingly normal wooden door. I raise a brow at the puny nature of the door compared to the vast hallways.
Underwhelming.
"Who's inside?" Tomura asks. I glance up to him before activating my quirk, determining the figures inside.
"Overhaul, there's another two, probably the same idiots from before." I inform him. He narrows his eyes, nodding singularly before opening the door, careful to not disintegrate the handle. I inhale a breath through my teeth, standing firmly beside him.
"I've been waiting for you." The voice of Overhaul echos through the room as we both step through the door. I pull my eyes up to address the man in question, noticing the beak-like mask resting over his mouth and nose.
Huh. Weirdo.
I stay quiet, not bothering to audibly snort out my amusement. Everyone in this city is fucking strange, guess even a gangster isn't an exception. I huff to myself silently, sticking to Tomura's plan entirely.
"Don't talk unless you have to, don't use your quirk unless I say so. Got it?"
I chew at the inside of my cheek, rocking back and forth on my heels as I pull my eyes away from the man, scanning them across the room.
"Not big on decorating your office, huh?" Tomura mutters nonchalantly, observing the decor just as I am. Only two couches and a table sit in the room, other than that, the floors are swept clean and polished to perfection.
Clean freak, huh?
"I don't like cluttered spaces." Overhaul grumbles back. I notice a short statured man? sat next to him, a mask covering his entire face as rakes his fingers through a stack of money.
I'm so tempted to steal that and run...
"We've been wandering around these under-ground tunnels for half an hour. Way to make your guests feel like ants. Is every Yakuza hideout as bizarre as this one?" Shigaraki grumbles, subconsciously scratching at his neck.
