Sven's POV:

I got an earful upon returning to the space station from Carol, that's when I pulled her aside and told her about Burt. She backed off after that. But I left out the stuff about Henry in the park.
I went to my room, thinking about if I should show Burt the photos. How do I even bring up the topic? 'So, hey Burt? Are you with the Chief because I saw him making out with a god damn government soldier!' Yeah, no. That's terrible.
I sigh, changing into my pj's. I look through the pictures myself. "What a pig. Having two guys at the same time." Another sigh escapes my lungs. "I need to show him the truth. Even if he can't handle it. I'll be there for him... no matter how much it kills me."

The next day, I waited for Burt to get onto his lunch break. He nearly walks into me.
"Sven! I couldn't find you anywhere yesterday after you ran off. Sorry if I was pushing you too much. I'm just worried about you is all." Oh, Burt. I'm the least of your problems right now.
"No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lash out like that. I..." Damnit, how do I say this? "...wasn't myself."
"Is there something going on in your life?" Burt and I begin to walk towards the cafeteria.
"..." you can do this Sven. "I... saw you with the cheif."
Burt stopped. "I... I didn't know how to tell you." He looks down, holding his arm. "I know you don't like him, but I do. He's actually a pretty funny guy."
"That's... not the problem. Well, it's mostly but that's not what I wanted to talk about!" I sigh and grab my phone. Looking at it for a moment before unlocking it. "I also saw him... with another guy."
"What?"
"It looked like it was a government soldier." I approach him, holding out my phone for him to take. Instead, he backs up, not looking at the picture. His confused expression shifts into annoyance.
"Sven. I know how you feel about Henry, but this is inexcusable. Don't lie to me." Burt's angry with me? He doesn't believe me?
"I'm not lying Burt. Please, just look at this." I lift the phone.
"Just DROP IT!" He slaps the phone out of my hand. "I love him and he loves me! He'd never cheat on me, and why would he do it with a soldier anyways!? Are you jealous or something!? Stop lying!"
I just stood there in shock. My hand stung as I then held it gently, but that wasn't the only thing that stung. 'You love him? Why him? Why not me?' I couldn't stop a tear from escaping as I knelt to pick up my newly broken phone. I forced myself to get back up. "Don't say I never warned you," I say quietly through shaky breath.

Burt's POV:

He sprinted away. Leaving me with my thoughts, calming down. 'What would make him say something like that?!' I can't help but shed a few tears. "Sven..."
I may have had a crush on him for a long time. But when I met Henry, he just had that magnetic charm. I fell for him too and he didn't hide his advances to me. He was so open I couldn't help but accept his affection. A part of me still thinks dating him will snuff out my feelings for Sven, but now this? I'm just so confused. A part of me hopes he's just lying. Because if he's telling the truth, I don't know what I'd do. 'I love...'
"Hey, Burty." I know who is wrapping their arms around my hips.
"Henry! Aren't you supposed to be planning the next big heist?" I ask, blushing a little.
"I'm taking a little break to come see you. Why don't we take this to my room?" He moves his hands to the inside on my thighs. Normally this would be a turn on, but it's just feeling uncomfortable at the moment.
"I'm not really in the mood. I just fought with Sven."
He was quiet for a moment and removes himself from my body. "Did he hurt you?" Henry grabbed my cheek.
"No. He'd never hurt me," I reassure him.
"Come with me." He guides me to what I'm guessing is going to be his room.
"But he mentioned something about you and... Someone else." I was nervous to ask, but it was bugging me.
"Someone else? Like who? Carol? Reginald?"
"Like... A military soldier."
He's quiet for a few seconds. "That's ridiculous. Those soldiers are all asses. I would tie 'em all up and toss them into the Bermuda triangle, without a pilot for them to even stand a chance!"
"Yeah. What kind of idiot would believe that! Heh." He held me closer as we walked. Still, Sven's statement continued to stick with me, along with the look on his face before he left.
