Part 4: The girl in white

Please note that conservation between shikhu, Rangrez, and Mahir is in Hindi but I will be writing it in English.

Shikhu uncle and Rangrez don't speak English. Also, Rangrez thinks that it's the language that animals speak.

I cough to gain shikhu uncle's attention "umm...... Can you please tell me how can I go back? ".

" We don't know. " Uncle stated moving his head left to right.

Don't trust them, Mahir. Just don't trust them. They can be fraud
Maybe kidnappers?

But how did they managed to get me here? I was with my family. Are they going to ask for money for releasing me? Or they are going to kill me?.

I don't trust them especially this colorful hybrid.

They looked so amused seeing me. They must be thinking of me to be an alien.

But this all can't be true. This place is so weird. I am getting these types of dreams since the time I got this watch.
The man who gave me this watch said he invested his 25 years into this horrific watch I wonder what he even did with this watch.

Why waste your time designing such a stupid watch when you can simply buy a watch.

Or if was so passionate about designing watches he could have made a simple watch.

God! This is all so weird.

"Child you can live here until you find a way to your house" Uncle suggested as if it was the most normal thing to live with strangers when you know you can be killed anytime.

Again Mahir this is not real. This is a dream. This is a pure dream. Wake up. Just wake up dude.

I kept repeating the same line and squeezed my eyes.

But nothing was helping as I was still stuck at the same place.

I got up from the seat "I will find my way on my own. Thank you" I just spat the words with a tight-lipped smile totally ignoring the grinning of the gray eyes.

"You can't find. This village neither has an entrance nor exit".

" What does that mean? "

"I mean that you are here because nature wanted you. You didn't reach here on your own instead you have been needed here. you may return to your home once the purpose of you being here is completed".

I started laughing at his poor attempt of joke. " You are kidding me, right? You want to scare me as you already saw me getting me scared, isn't it? "

I laughed at his explanation but he only gazed at me with concerned eyes.

Glancing at him, I again asked "you are kidding? "

"No," He said in a deadly serious voice.

I won't be wrong if I say that this no gave an electric shock throughout my body.

Without uttering a word, I moved out of the hut with uncle following me and the gray eyes tailing behind him, rolling his hair strand on his forefinger.

'This is a dream I was continuously reminding myself but it seemed that it was fading away.

Uncle put his palm on my shoulder due to which I jerked a bit.
