Puffy eyes, dark circles, and a pale face were her only companion as she kept rotating on her office chair, continuously looking in a particular direction.

She locked herself in her cabin for the past two days. Neither she went to her home nor Mahir's home. She instructed her team to go to work but completely isolated herself from the project. Her mother called her again and again only to get an "I will be home soon " reply.

Her phone again buzzed with his number. He was excited, he wanted her to renovate his room but here she was ignoring his calls. He was concerned about her health when she told him that she won't be able to come due to bad health but the work would not stop, her teammates would complete it. Although they did but he least cared about the work, he was more focused on her. He visited her house only to be told by her mother that she was in office. When he reached the office he was told that she went to another city for some work. But she was very much present there observing him from far.

She wanted to embrace him, shower kisses on his face, she wanted to say her new feeling towards him aloud.
But how unlucky, she fell for a man who was already in love with someone else. Thus, being away from him was the only option.

~told you not to get involved in that deep shit. Now see the consequences! You have lost your professionalism. You are deviating from your path. This is how you will change everything?

Her mind screamed at her

She was feeling guilty for having such feelings towards her client. She never felt anything like that for anyone before. The project was not supposed to end like that. Why it was different with him? She was feeling pathetic. She cried until her tears dried. Her eyes were puffy, her face was swollen and she was going crazy.

"Hello! Cousin"  Wiping her lone tear, she looked in the direction to find Ridhi standing before her with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Tch... Tch... Tch... What happened to your already stupid face? " She came closer to her and pressed Bela's wrist on the armrest, "did that rich guy throw you out of his life? He doesn't want you anymore? Awww...so bad. But was not that inevitable... I mean, of course, look at you and HIM. No match in standards, No class... How did you think he will be with you" She grabbed Bela's jaw.

How dare she roam around with that rich guy, Mahir Sehgal in the mall? He turned down Ridhi's proposal just for the no-class girl, Bela Sharma? How dare he insult her like that?.

If it was another day, Bela would have slapped her right on her face but this day she had no energy to fight with her. She wanted peace. Actually, she herself didn't know what she wanted.
But the word "mall" threw her back to the day when she went to select some tile designs with Mahir. He dragged her to the Mall and there they had an eventful day.
One more priceless memory.

Her eyes brimmed again. Drop by drop they kept flowing. Her eyes were burning with non-stop crying.

"Eww... How unhygienic" Ridhi quickly left her jaw when a tear-streaked her hand.
