"Wow! Do you play guitar? " Mahir asked amused as soon as he saw the Guitar in her room.
They were sitting on the bed with a decent distance between them. And Gracious was gladly sleeping on Bela's bed with Mahir patting her lovingly.
"Yes" Bela replied tucking her baby hair behind her ear.
"Umm... Will you play something? " Mahir asked unsure, fidgeting his fingers.
"S... Sure" Bela replied.
Even I needed a refreshment then why not? I was already trying hard to control my flying heart that was somersaulting inside my body like a free bird.Bela picked up her Guitar, "let's go to the balcony". It was her favorite place to play guitar. Whenever she lost hope, she preferred playing Guitar.
She never had any good friends because, since the time she grew mature, it was only her and her dream. She got obsessed with the idea of seeing her mother happy. She never approached anyone for anything. It was only Saumya who broke all the walls near her and forcefully reached her out. Even Saumya wanted a start-up and then they both worked together. Bela was grateful that she could have such beautiful support. And Now even she was shifting.
She was always a child who found it hard to communicate her feelings. And then her Guitar came to her rescue. Although her fingers would play with Guitar strings but the strings of her heart automatically adjusted themselves to provide her peace and comfort.
Nodding at her, Mahir picked up Gracious and sat on the small bed placed in the balcony.
Her balcony was decorated with lights and small plants. It was peaceful there. It was warm and welcoming. Filling him up with peace.
Bela sat beside him on the small bed with the Guitar.
"So any preference? " She asked adjusting the nodes.
"Your favorite" Mahir said looking straight into her eyes.
For a second Bela's hand stopped and her heartbeat too. Nervously nodding at him, she took a deep breath before beginning.
She closed her eyes, adjusting her hands-on strings, she finally began,
"Mangaan ae hi duavaan main,
Channa tu mainu mill jaa.
Tenu na bol pawaan main,
Tu aape hi samajh ja."It was the time of sunset. The cool breeze was caressing her hair, the pinkish-orange light was gracing her angelic face. Her soft petals moved to sing the beautiful song in her melodious voice. If that was enough for Mahir's heart to skip a beat then what was? He sat there adoring his princess singing for him. His 'heart' conveying his 'heartfelt words'.He sat there admiring her beauty and her melodious singing.
