Chapter 18

"Ha-Harry?" I stuttered. I couldn't believe my eyes. How was he here? Why was here?

"Hey, Y/N." He said smiling.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Hey Y/N?" Stacy yelled. I turned to look at her. "You're off for the day. Good luck, girl."

"Can we go talk somewhere?" He asked. I slowly nodded.

"Let me grab my stuff." I said. I went into the back and grabbed my things. I still couldn't believe what was happening. Harry was here? For me? Or was it for something else?

I walked into the front and he lead me to a gazebo outside the mall. It was all decorated in lights and flowers.

"You better not be proposing, Harry." I said.

"Not proposing, don't worry. Have a seat." He said. I sat down on the bench in. I was still in shock. "Do you need a minute? I'll give you a minute."

"Why are you here?" I suddenly asked. Even I wasn't expecting that to come out of my mouth.

"Y/N, I couldn't just let things end like that. And I need to tell you how I really feel." He said. My eyes widened at that last thing.

"You need... to tell me... how you feel?" I asked. Still not believing this was happening. He just laughed.

"Yes Y/N. I need to tell you how I feel. Will you let me do that?" He asked.

"As long as you don't propose, I'm all ears." I said. He laughed.

"Y/N, the first time I saw you. I thought you were so pretty. Remember that? I winked at you." I nodded. "Then when we reunited at the cabin, I just knew it was fate. I was meant to have you in my life. I couldn't help but be attracted to you. You're gorgeous, Y/N. I know that what my ex posted really rattled you, but know that she's in the past. That's all it is and will ever be. She took the post down. It was a dare from one of her friends." I gasped at this. She had no idea how much she had ruined my day that day.

"You thought that I wanted her. But Y/N. There's only one thing in this world that I want. And that one thing is you." Then he pulled out a jewelry box.
