‘’We’re here baby.’’ James says happily, pulling in the parking lot. On the other side of the street there was a cute little breakfast place where James used to go when he was little.

Now the times of overworking were gone, he decided to make this day yours, and spoil you with everything nice.

He took your hand and walked into the place where everything was decorated in such a homey style. James took out a seat, gesturing for you to sit down, before sitting across from you.

The woman that worked there brought you all kinds of great food that you would’ve enjoyed any other day.

Slowly rubbing your stomach, you took a few bites of your breakfast, making small talk with your fiancé.

Feeling the nausea get worse you stopped eating.

‘’James.. I, I don’t feel so good.’’ You say, making James stop his talking. He looked at you.

‘’I didn’t wanna say it, but you look kinda tired. Are you sick, honey?’’ He asked, placing a big hand on your forehead. You smiled a little.

‘’No, I’m fine. More than fine.. But I really wanna go home.’’ You say. James nodded and stood up.

‘’Go to the car, love. I’ll follow you in a minute.’’ Walking out, you sat in the passenger seat still rubbing your stomach. You felt bad about leaving early because it was sweet that James arranged this for you.

You arrived home and you went straight for the bathroom. James followed you with worry written all over his face, keeping your hair out of your face while you hovered over the toilet seat.

When the worst was over, you sat back and looked at him.

‘’I’m sorry you had to see that.’’

‘’Don’t worry about it.’’ He says, feeling your forehead again.

‘’Are you sure you’re okay?’’

You nodded, taking his hand leading him to the couch. You sat him down, sitting next to him, looking into his eyes still holding onto his hand.

You pushed some hair out of his face and smiled.

‘’I have been thinking about ways to tell you this.. But I think I should just say it.’’ You say, a serious look on your face.

‘’You can tell me anything.’’ James whispers. You nod.

‘’Baby.. You’re going to be a daddy in 6 months.’’ You say, biting your lip. His eyes widened.

‘’What?!’’ He smiles and put his hand on your stomach.

‘’That’s why I’ve been sick for a while.’’ You explain.

Looking at James, you saw a tear fall down his cheek while he looked at you with love.

‘’I love you so much.’’ He says, wrapping his arms around you, hugging you close. You laughed.

‘’I love you too.’’ You smile.
