‘’I miss you so much, James.’’ You told him. Your voice was sad as you sighed. You heard him grunt silently.

‘’I miss you too babe. Oh man, I just wanna kiss you so bad.’’ He whispered. He sounded out of breath, making you realize it was intermission at one of his shows.

‘’I hope you’re home soon, honey.’’

‘’Hang in there babe, I’ll be back before you know it. You wanna skype tonight?’’ He asked as he was drinking some water.

You thought about it. You had to get up early for a doctor’s appointment but you didn’t want to go there without seeing James’ face before going to bed. He obviously forgot about that.

‘’Sure.’’ You smiled.

‘’You sound hesitant.’’ He asked worried. You shrugged even though he couldn’t see it.

‘’I have that appointment tomorrow morning.’’ You said, biting your lip.

‘’Oh right! How did I forget about that. It’s fine babe, go to bed early.’’ From the sound of his voice he was smiling.

‘’No.. I’ll be on. But just a little while. Can’t sleep without seeing you first anyway.’’ You giggled.

‘’Okay. Anyway I gotta go. Our intermission is almost over.’’ He hurried.

‘’I will! See you when I get home.’’

You made kissing sounds in the phone. James laughed.

‘’Caught them! They’re in my heart now.’’ He chuckled. You smiled.

‘’Love you baby girl.’’

‘’I love you.’’ And with that you hung up the phone, counting the minutes until you could see his face on the small computer screen.
