Ananya applied the cake on his face like any face-pack, covered the whole face, even his eyelids. (she really enjoyed doing this. #RevengeTaken)
Ananya- "This is your punishment for irritating me that day, and also for not getting me a gift"
At first, the guests were shocked, but then couldn't hold their laughter seeing Debu's face. debu was dumbfounded. then he regained himself and licked the cream from his lips.
Debu- "Umm, that was very tasty, Maa" (Karuna ji smiled sheepishly)
he went to the table where the cake was kept, took a piece and fed it to Ananya.
Debu- "Happy birthday Anu" She smilingly ate the cake. She felt bad somewhere for doing this to him but then made herself remember that he deserved it. 😜
After that everyone came with their presents. Vivaan gifted her a handmade card that contained a poem written by him only.
Ananya- "since when did you start writing poems, hmm?"
Vivaan- "Hidden Talent didi"
When others were giving her presents, Debu went to wash his face, can't stay like that whole evening. Someone called him and he received that call, due to which he reached the party hall late. He realized the gifting segment was done and Ananya was giving him weird looks.
Ananya- "How could you come empty-handed? at least you should have brought something with magic"
Debu- "Who said I didn't bring anything for you?"
Ananya- "if you have then where is it?"
Just then the doorbell rung, grabbing everyone's attention. Debu went to answer the door and returned with a basket.
Debu- "Here is your gift"
Ananya- "in a basket?" she exclaimed.
Debu- "Yes, please open it."She kept the basket on a tool and opened the lid. There came out a cute little Doggo. 😍🐶

Everyone became Aww-faced looking at the cute bundle of joy. Ananya took it in her arms and instantly it snuggled to her warmth.
-"This is the best gift of today. Thank you Debu." She hugged him sideways, still holding the puppy in her arms protectively.
-"I am glad you liked the gift," he said hugging her back.
-"What should we name him?" asked khushi. Her face had visible excitement.
-"It's her" Debu corrected "and I have a suggestion. Please don't name her Devi like last time" he joked.
-"she should have an interesting name instead of such boring ones. I will name her 'Smurphy'. How is it?"
Everyone liked the name. Now it was time for the photoshoot. everyone made posses with Smurphy to look cute.
Suddenly music started and all discovered themselves on a virtual dance stage. everyone danced and enjoyed a lot. Debu and Ananya danced together, Vivaan and Arohi also danced together. In the end, everyone became tired and decided to have dinner. When almost everyone left for home, Ananya stopped Debu at the doorstep.
-"I hope you are not mad at me for what I did to you at the party" 😄
-"it's fine. I guess I deserved it"
-"yes you did. dare you to irritate me again," she said playfully. "Honestly I loved your gift the most" she added.
-"I have seen your care for Deviprasad. So guessed you would love the idea of a pet of your own." She smiled hearing his words.
- "Good Night," she said blushing a little.
-"good night" he wished with a genuine smile.
that night both slept with peaceful smiles on their faces. unware of the storm they were going to face the next day.
