Chapter 17

"He really is a spy, I have all of his gadgets on this desk." I told Lexi over the phone as I looked at the gadgets.

"This is really weird, but are you coming to softball tonight?" Lexi asked.

"Yeah, captain's duty." I replied.

"I guess, we can talk about it more at practice. I have to go Cookie had too many dog treats." Lexi said.

"You can never trust your brother with your dog." I said.

"Yeah, I shouldn't have had Connor watch him. Connor stop chasing Cookie!" Lexi yelled.

"Is everything okay?" I asked.

"Just dandy, I should go see you at practice. Connor!" Lexi yelled.

"Bye, see you at practice." I said and the line went dead. I sighed and hopped off the chair and looked at the gadgets. Then I thought Tanner and Bryce sounded familiar and I searched it up on google.

I face palmed myself I knew he sounded to familiar. Bryce Tanner is the LA Dodgers 2nd baseman. I yelled, "Ethan!" Ethan came running into the basement.

"What?" Ethan asked.

"Look, he's a Dodger!" I said as I showed him the website.

"Holy shit! He's the second basemen for the Dodgers. So he's a baseball player and a fucking spy?!" Ethan yelled.

"Yeah, he's such a douche." I mumbled.

"Do you want me to drop you off at practice?" Ethan asked.

"Sure, let me grab my bag and you grab a bag to put these gadgets in." I said and we did that. We put it in my safe in my room and then we went to the field.

"Hey Luna, over here!" Lexi waved me over.

"Hi, what's up?" I asked.

"We're just talking about the new guy that's coming tomorrow." Grace said.

"New guy? What's his name?" I asked.

"Noah Adkins, he's a baseball player that got transferred here just to play baseball on our team. His parents are forcing him to move schools because we have a good track of baseball." Grace said.

"Really? Our teams are really good though." I admitted and the girls chuckled.

"Lets start warming up." Grace said.

"Okay girls! Grab a partner and start throwing the ball to each other!" I yelled and the girls did as I said.

"He's a really good player, he's been to the championship for 4 straight years." Grace said as we threw the ball.

"Can he beat me?" I asked.

"No, no, no. No one can beat you. Your the best pitcher in the state and he's a outfielder." Grace said.

"An outfielder is captain?" I asked.

"I was shocked too, he's middle fielder and he's a right hander too." Grace said.

"He's no competition, I'm a 7 time championship winner back to back." I said.

"So what's up with the Bryce Tanner situation?" Grace asked.

"I have no clue, he's a the 2nd baseman for the Dodgers and a spy. It's just not adding up to me." I said.

"I guess, we can talk after practice. Lets just finish practice." Grace suggested.

"Okay, girls huddle up!" I yelled.

"Why is he here if he's a Dodger?" Samantha asked as she threw a grape in the air and caught it with her mouth.

"Yeah, it's baseball season isn't it?" Peyton asked.

"Yeah, he's only here because his dad wants Finn and him to be here to find the mystery girl." Grace said.

"Which is Lily." Lexi pointed out.

"Wait what? How do you know if it's me?" I asked as I munched on a piece of Ritz cracker.

"It's obvious, Gavin!" Peyton yelled.

Gavin walked in and asked,"what?"

"Where's Sage?" Peyton asked.

"With Rosie the witch." Gavin said in a disgusted voice.

"Who's Rosie?" I asked.

"Rosie is this bitch who is dating Sage and she's always mean to me and Gavin but poop face Sage just thinks were framing her because she's an angel. She's actually the devil in disguise." Peyton said as he covered Gavin's ears when she said bitch.

"I'm going to Jack's house, bye." Gavin said.

"Get Logan to drive you!" Peyton yelled.

"Okay!" Gavin said as he left the room.

"So you and Logan are still dating?" Grace asked.

"Yeah, he's really sweet to Gavin and me so I really like him and he has an amazing personality and he makes my heart melt. No one else can do that to me." Peyton explained.

"Aww, true love right there." Sammie said.

"That's true, I should go now." I replied as I got up.

"Why?" Lexi asked.

"I'm meeting up with Noah Adkins because of my stupid brother." I replied.

Ethan and Noah are all buddy buddy now so I have to eat dinner with them. Ethan, Noah, and I are having dinner alone at the diner so I have to go home and get ready for the dinner because I was wearing sweats at the moment.

"Okay, good luck!" Grace said and I grabbed my bag and left the mansion.
