"When... was this ?" I asked and she sighed

"Are you mad ?" Ary asked

"I'm not mad I'm happy you at least told me." I told her and she looked away

"Not too long ago.. "

"So the pregnancy test situation... it wasn't for Janiya huh?" I asked and she nodded

"We've used protection of course but that situation was out of guilt.."

"I trust you.. but I want to make sure we keep everything right, if you agree gynecologist appointments I want try to force you on birth control or anything, that can be your decision." I told her

"I'll do both.. I don't want to make any mistakes.. nor do I want to make any... babies." She said and I lightly laughed

"Smart." I told her before pulling a bottle back over and I began refilling

"So like you're not mad, I'm not in trouble ?" She asked and I looked at her

"Some decisions aren't always.. for the parents Ary. I'm just glad that you told me instead of holding it. All ima tell you is be careful, there's no such thing as a virginity a virginity is you, so just because you gave it up to one person it doesn't mean you're free to give it to another. Always think before you do which I know you will." I told her before holding her hand and she raised her eyebrows

"Thank you." She told me and I gave her a small smile

"So by 'we've' been using protection does it mean y'all have done this more then once?" I asked before taking a sip of my wine and she hit me with a kitchen towel

"Bye ma." She laughed

"Was it in my housee?" I asked and she busted out laughing harder

"It was not, byeee ma." She said before going upstairs and I shook my head.

How you react in certain situations are important, and I can't say I learned that the hard way because I didn't.. I learned it from me because that was all I ever wanted, for somebody to shut the fuck up and listen to me sometimes, so I've always made sure to listen to my daughters, it's not my job to decide.. it's my job to listen and parent.

I pulled up to Trey's house and Jd's car was parked outside along with another.

I sighed before getting out the car and I hesitated but I continued to knock.

After a minute Jd answered and he looked down before stepping aside and letting me in.

Once I walked inside I saw my daddy sitting down with his girlfriend Joy.

I cleared my throat before looking at Trey and he shook his head

"Get out Kay."

"That is still yo sister so respect her." My daddy said and I shook my head

"It's fine daddy he doesn't need to have that as a excuse to respect me." I said before looking at him

"I'm helping yo baby mama with her case." I told him

"Am I suppose to praise you ? Thank you at that ?" He asked

"Nah, cause I'm doing shit differently here, I don't expect nothing in return for my loyalty, and I'm not doing this shit for you in doing it for my nephew." I told him and he chuckled
