Although this is mainly the twins book, I added "Family edition" because I will be throwing in family pov's since the series started off with Kay and Trey.

Kay-

As Ary walked out from work she tiredly climbed into the car before resting her head on the window

My poor baby was suppose to leave at 11:00 and didn't get off till 12:30.

"Why'd they keep you for so long ?" I asked

"I offered, I needed the money." She said and I furrowed my eyebrows

"For..."

"Christmas duhh, having a big family around times like this isn't always great. Plus I don't wanna start the new year broke" she said and I chuckled

"Smart" I told her

"You wanna go out and do shopping tomorrow ?" I asked her

"Is that a invitation off punishment ?" She asked side eyeing me and I shook my head

"Maybe.. You're good Ary, we just didn't expect what happened to be from you that was it" I said and she raised her eyebrows

"Yea." She mumbled

"Me, you, and Liyah can go to wherever y'all need to go tomorrow after school ok?" I asked and she nodded

"I think someone was playing on my phone earlier" she said and I looked at her

"Why?" I asked

She handed me her phone and I furrowed my eyebrows

"Daddy's little girl huh👀 ?"

I looked out of my rear view mirror and sighed in relief not seeing anything suspicious.

I sent the number to myself before I handed her her phone and giving her a smile

"I'll figure it out, just don't reply and if they call let us know before answering ." I told her

Once we got to the house we went inside and I instantly smelt something burning.

Quickly I ran to the kitchen and Kash was struggling to pull something out the oven as Liyah watched

Smoked filled the kitchen and my mouth dropped before I ran Over and turned the stove off.

"What you doing Kash??" I asked before pulling the pan out the stove.

He backed into it and the pot he had on the stove stop fell spilling whatever was in it out.

I crossed my arms before looking up at him and he gave me a innocent ass look

"Shit I tried to make y'all some Alfredo, but I forgot about the bread.." he said holding up a black chunk And my mouth dropped

He needs to get his ass out the house.

"Awe well you tried baby" I said before kissing his head and he went to clean up the mess.

I threw the pan of bread away before sitting it in the sink and wiping off the stove top.

"I'll be back" I told Kash and he nodded

I went upstairs and ran myself a shower before removing my wig. I began unbraiding the corn rows I had and I got prepared to wash it which was wellllll needed

As I rinsed my hair I heard the bathroom door opened and Kash walked in. I watched as he stripped his shirt off

"Just wasn't gonna invite me though ?" He asked and I smacked my teeth
