The next day...

Liyah-

After I had got out the shower I went to check my phone only to see a missed call from a unknown number, I furrowed my eyebrows before calling back and putting it on speaker while I finished getting dressed

"Hey baby girl what you up too ?" My daddy asked

"Nothing I just got back from getting breakfast with everybody not too long ago what about you ?" I asked

"I already talked to Ary, but I'm coming by to get y'all for a few hours, we never really got the chance to just sit down and talk about everything, and I know y'all are just as confused like everyone else." He said

"Ok, you good though ?" I asked

"Why wouldn't I be ?"

"I mean, I know you and ma been going through it especially with this Zay situation." I said

"As long as he's not hurting or disrespecting my kids I don't really care what they got going on. I'm just focused on getting my shit back together." He chuckled and I laughed with him

"Well ok I'll see you when you get here." I said before eventually hanging up

I got dressed in something simple before brushing my hair into a ponytail, my texture was curly, but I had heat damage and I was planning on cutting off a few inches.

After a while we heard a knock on the door, and I went to get it but my man had got it instead

He came inside, and me and Ary came downstairs

"Before y'all go can we talk for a second?" Mg ma asked and I looked at Ary

He cleared his throat before following her to the kitchen and Nd and Ary just went ahead and went to his car

"So why do you really wanna transfer schools ?" Ary asked

"I just do." I shrugged and she sighed

"We don't always have to be in the same area Ary, Charlotte is for you, Houston is for me." I says and she nodded

Kash-

"Before I get to pissing you off, just wanted to apologize for how I first reacted when you came." She said and I rolled my eyes

"I basically started off that vibe because instead of welcoming you I pushed you away and that wasn't right, this is your family too, and even though you had plans it wasn't my place to do that." She said and I nodded

"But.." she started and I sighed before leaning against the island

"What you did that night was fucked up, it wasn't you taking London that bothered me, it was the fact that you had her out for hours and you didn't bother to call or text. I know with Liyah and Ary you would have them till whenever and it Goulding be a problem, but I've been doing things differently with London because I don't want her to experience the shot that Liyah and Ary experienced.." she said

"So it's not just you that I tell 9:00 too, it's Ary, Brian, she's usually upstairs getting ready for bed at that time unless she's spending the night somewhere, so her being out that late and me not knowing where was just new to me and that was why I wanted to do joint Custody, because if she's with you, she's just with you." She said and I rolled my eyes

"How many times do I have to say that I'm not doing that shit." I said

"Well then you have to be respectful and considerate, you want her for a few hours ? Call and ask instead of popping up, if you want her to stay with you ? Communicate, just like I would do the same with you. Liyah and Ary is different because they're grown and they have say so on if they want to go with you or not, but not my baby." She said and I nodded before sighing loudly
