"And that's everything ?" The officer asked with a look on her face as if she didn't believe me

"Look we are gonna give you a phone call, and if no one can come up to get you we are gonna have to Detain you in a holding cell until your court date-

"Court date ?" I interrupted before crossing my arms and she looked at me

"Yes court date . Interrupt me again and you won't be getting that phone call."

"Fuck you and that phone call." I mumbled and she nodded before getting up and leaving Causing me to sigh and cross my arms

After. While the same officer came in before standing me up and I looked at her

"You're lucky, daddy's here to save you." She told me and I rolled my eyes.

She walked me into another empty room and for the first time in a month I saw my daddy sitting down with a straight face.

I sat down in front of him before the door shut and we sat in silence for a while

"LA ? Really ?" He asked and I rolled my eyes

"Can we not?"

"What did you do now Aaliyah ?" He asked before sitting up

"I didn't do anything.." I said and he nodded

"So you got set up." He said and I looked off to the side

"You got bail until until yo court date, but since I wasnt in control of you and yo actions, I'm expecting you to get back on with a job and to pay me back, that's it, no lecture, you're coming home." He said before getting up and I shook my head

"I'm not going back there."

"Aaliyah." He told me before closing his eyes

"I'm not going." I told him before slightly raised my voice and he nodded

"You know what?" He chuckled

"Stay here." He told me before putting his hands up in surrender

"That nigga that you go so hard for ? No where to be found, so hopefully you not waiting on his ass cause he probably was the one that set yo dumbass up." He shrugged before leaving and slamming the door behind him

I layed my head down before sighing and the door opened to the officer

"You got 24 hours for post bail." She told me and I rolled my eyes before shaking my head

"Bail was posted." I heard and I sat up before furrowing my eyebrows

The officer came and got me before leading me back out into a hallways and she un cuffed me before letting me go into the lobby and I saw Teetee, Marcus, and Zay talking to the front counter lady and she was giving Zay papers.

Marcus looked at me before walking over to give me a hug and I rubbed the marks on my wrist where my handcuffs were

"Did you bail-

"Zay came through, yo paps really wasn't gon help you." He asked and I shook my head

"He wants be to be dependent on him so bad." I said before crossing my arms
