After a while Braxton (Simone's fiancé) ended up showing up to have a few drinks also.

"Wait so you co-own this club ?" Braxton asked and j shook my head no

"I used too, I ran it while Kash was locked up but he's back now so." I shrugged and he nodded

"It's nice, you and Zay should consider doing something like this." He said and Simone nudged him

"It's fine Simone." I waved off

"My bad, we talked about it and I'm sorry that he's taking a lot out on you." He told me and I nodded

"He didn't come with you tonight ?" I asked and he shook his head

"But if I were you I'd go by, he really does like you Kay and I think the situation is worth working out." He told me and I nodded before we heard a announcement go over the speaker and everyone turned to the stage to see Kash holding the Mic with Angel by his side

He started talking announcing the count down for the new year and I looked at my phone noticing that it had just turned 11:59.

Everyone began counting down and we all ran up towards the center before joining in with shots in hand.

"5...4...3...2...1 !"

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" We all yelled before downing our shots and immediately cheering

Everyone around us shared a kiss including Kash and Angel before the music started back blasting.

"Okay I think I'm done with y'all for the night I'm at my drunk limit." I told them and everyone laughed

"You ok to drive ?" Ari asked and I nodded

"Text me when you make it." She told me before I turned around and began walking towards the exit b I saw Kash come down from the stage before furrowing his eyebrows

"You good ?" He asked

"Yea why wouldn't I be." I replied and he raised his eyebrows

"Nothing you done for the night already ?" He asked

"I am." I told him before passing him.

Shortly after Brian came over before furrowing his eyebrows also

"You good ?" He asked and I sighed

"Do I look like I'm getting ready to pass out or something ?" I asked and he smacked his teeth

"I was just checking up on yo lil ass." He chuckled and I laughed with him

"Yes I'm fine." I told him and he nodded before giving me a hug

"Happy New Year, and be safe." He told me and I nodded before finally leaving

Once I made it to my car I sat to sit and think about if I wanted to stop at Zay's or not.

After making up my mind I started the car before heading towards his direction.

He opened the door before sighing and I tilted my head.

"Damn well Happy New Year to you too." I told him

"My bad I didn't mean to make it sound like that I'm just not really in the mood to argue right now." He told me

"I didn't come to argue, when have I ever?" I asked before we sat in silence
