Shawn❤️: "get dressed and pack a bag."

Me: "We haven't talked all day and that was random."

Shawn❤️: "just be ready ."

I rolled my eyes before getting up and going to take a shower.

Once I was finished I picked out some tan leather jeans that flared at the bottom, with a long sleeve blouse that I left open a little bit. Lastly, I put on some short heels her were slightly transparent.

I did my hair into a slick back bun before finishing off the fit with accessories, Chanel perfume, and a MK handbag.

By the time I finished getting ready he had told me he was outside so I grabbed my duffel bag before throwing it over my shoulder and walking downstairs to see jr and Malik on the couch playing the game.

They both turned around and jr furrowed his eyebrows

"Where you going ?"

"With Shawn." I said and he squinted his eyes

"You can't say nothing, I'm fully dressed." I said and he chuckled before nodding

"Ight you look nice, be safe musty." He told me and I smiled before flipping him off.

I walked out to his car before putting my bag in his back seat and getting inside

"You look good." He smiled and I returned the compliment

He continued to drive in silence with nothing but soft r&b music playing

"I've been busy all day today That's why I've been so distant." He said and I nodded

"You could've just told me that." I mumbled

"I mean I'm telling you now aren't I ?" He asked and I looked at him before he sighed and slightly turned up the music.

After a minute we pulled up to w restaurant called "Bravo." It was rooftop and was very fancy.

He had reservations so we went straight up and the rooftop area was cleared. The view was nice of the city lights and buildings and candles were set around the table

"Was this what you were doing ?" I asked before smiling and he nodded before grabbing my hand

"Part of it."

We both sat down before looking over the menu and after a while ordering.

"So I kind of just felt like we haven't been us so we needed a night just to us." He said and I nodded

"Is there anything bothering you, or that you feel like I'm doing wrong ?" He asked and I shook my head

"Be honest." He said and I sighed

"It's not you, it's just me and how I'm thinking." I said

"Ight then what's on yo mind?" He asked and I looked down

"We both just have two different schedules, and when we spend so long away from each other I over think... especially now with Alexis in the picture." I admitted

"Alexis ?" He asked and I shrugged before he lightly laughed and grabbed my hand

"Alexis only came into the picture of being my friend because she was friends with the football team and we all hung out a couple of times, and if it makes you feel any better she's gay." He said and I raised my eyebrows
