After the bell had rung I walked out of class with Aniya by my side

"You work tomorrow ?" She asked and I nodded

"I actually was thinking about going after workouts but the game ." I said and she shook her head

"Yea go with me, I mean I support you with that bag but you deserve a break you work everyday after practice" she said and I nodded

She was right, many don't even understand why I work so much when I could have everything that I wanted or need handed to me easily, but it's something about having my own money and something to work towards.

Once I walked into the locker room I heard somebody talking and my mosey ass listened

"Girl and they still together."

"Which is why you should leave them alone" another voice spoke

"I don't give a fuck I feel like he's only with her for history, as soon as they broke up he was all up on me. She not even that cute"

"Jada baby you was make up pussy and I don't like that" interrupted and she jumped before turning around

"Are you in my business ?" She asked

"Are you in my sisters business ?" I asked and she rolled her eyes

One thing about me ? I've grown to talk my shit, but at the end of the day I still am that sweet little quiet girl.

"You're a hoe bruh and you proud of that shit" Aniya said and Jada stood up

"Bitch don't play with me" she said and I laughed

"Girl you've been playing with me since freshman year, all because my cousin gave yo nigga a run for the shit he be talking" I said and she went silent

"Ight then" I mumbled before walking away

I hated this school with a passion, I hated how out of character it got me.

I changed into a sports set of a black Nike  sports bra and Nike spandex to match with it before I grabbed my water bottle and jacket.

I put the oversized jacket over my body before waiting on Aniya

"That jacket is cute as fuck where'd you get it?" She asked

"It's not even mine it's Shawn's I think he got it from H&M that day we had went to the mall." I told her and she raised her eyebrows

"But how did you get it" she asked side eyeing me and I shook my head

He had spilled something on mine the other day and he still had this one in a bag in the back" I said and she nodded

"Awe that's sweet" she cooed and I rolled my eyes before shaking my head

"Hurryy" I whined

After she was finally done I grabbed my water before walking towards the weight room.

My coach was already directing everyone to where they needed to be and she had me lifting while Aniya spotted.

"Girl why I saw this new boy in the hall and he was fine sooo fine" she said and I furrowed my eyebrows

"I haven't seen no new boy" I said before laying on the bench And preparing to lift

"He had a lot of hair and he was kinda brown skin a little more on the lighter side"

Great.. another cheating ass light skin, I really do hate it here.

"Where'd you see him at ?" I asked before lifting the weight off the war.
