The next day-

We were woke up by banging at the door and I shook my head before getting up along with Kash.

"Let me get it." kash said

"I got it-

"Who else gon be knocking like that at 6 in the morning ? Just let me get it cause if they come at you crazy they gon have to take my ass to jail foreal." He said and I sighed before following behind him.

He finally opened the door and two officers stood there before flexing a paper and reaching for hand cuffs

"Keshawn Brown you are under arrest for aggravated assault, anything stop say will be used or held against you." He told him before grabbing him aggressively and I sighed before walking over

"Hold on what's going on ?" Ary asked before coming downstairs along with jr behind her

"Back up." The officer said before placing his hand on his gun and I furrowed my eyebrows before pushing her back

"Don't pull that shit out on my daughter." I said but he kept his hand on it before the other one that had Kash pushed him against the wall and attempted to put him in hand cuffs

"Aye nigga that shit ain't even necessary my kids right there what the fuck ?" He asked

"That shit is too tight." I backed up before walking over and the other officer stopped me causing me to shake my head

"Y'all are stupid." I told him before looking him in the eyes

"Kay back the fuck up." Kash told me before the officer yanked him off the wall and started pushing him out

"Why are they taking him ? What did he do ma?" Ary asked before following the officers outside and I sighed before following

I watched as they put him in the car and he looked at us before they shut the door and drove off with him

"Ma!?" Ary asked and I looked at her before rubbing my head

"You told me no more secrets, what did he do?" She asked again

"He didn't do anything, it's Mike behind this."  I said and she looked down

"See and that's why I shouldn't have said anything in the first place-

"No you should've, nothing that happened is your fault, he's gonna be okay, I already have everything figured out." I told her and she nodded And I looked up at Jr

"Aye can we talk ?" He asked before going back inside and I followed him into the den.

"What did Mike say ?" He asked

"I'm guessing he got scared knowing that kash was gonna come up on him for what he did to Ary so he's trying to let the police do his work for him. Mike is a long gone retired ass thug so he has no problem with snitching at all." I said and he rubbed his head

"Ight what can I do ?" He asked

"You can go be with your baby." I told him and he sighed

"I'm serious, don't worry about it I got this, just go be there for her not me." I told him and he nodded

"Just call if you need anything deadass." He told me and I kissed before watching him go upstairs and I turned around to see Ary

"Can we not?" She asked and I looked at her

"Not what ?"

"Tell anyone else about Mike, I don't need nobody else getting hurt or in trouble in the process." She told me before walking away.
