A/N
Forewarning this chapter (parts one and two) deals with darker subjects such as self harm and suicidal stuff (although no death occurs, yet muahaha)

Excuse the misleading title, it actually went very, very right.

It was what happened after the actual outing that was wrong.

Ew not that way. You have a one track mind.

Okay well I should probably start the morning of the first date.

I didn't exactly know that there would be a date, so it came as a major surprise.

We were on a three day weekend due to like Presidents' Day or something.

I was eating breakfast, made by Kira today. She liked to make crepes, as it was something her mom would do for her on Mondays to cheer her up about going back to school.

There wasn't school today, but the crepes were still amazing. We all sat down together and ate, talking about our days.

Kira was talking about a shoot she had done recently in New York and how her best friends and boyfriend from New York were there to meet her. She was showing us the print draft and Bay got up and left.

No one would have thought anything of it, except she had only taken one bite of her food and then left.

She always are enough to feed all of us.

Now we should have confronted her right there, but we were terrible humans and we didn't.

"What's with her?" Sara asked, it was the first day we had actually seen her outside of her room. She was usually in there with Adam, 'studying'.

"She has been pretty pissed since Josh broke up with her," Kira said about Bay's new ex-boyfriend who we more commonly referred to as The Puppy as he had long hair that he always wore in a ponytail, big brown eyes, and basically did whatever Bay wanted him to do. Like a puppy.

"Didn't she break up with him?" Maura asked.

"Well yeah, she said there was other stuff happening that she didn't want to talk about just yet." Kira seemed to think nothing of it so we all took a leaf from her book and left the subject alone.

Sara's phone started ringing with a song that we had all come to recognize as Adam's ringtone. She excused herself and walked towards her room. I finished my crepe and did my dishes. I excused myself and was going to go get my guitar to practice a new song that I particularly liked, when Sara stopped me.

"Guess what?" She asked.

"What?"

"Adams family owns this boat. And they said he could take it out today!" She said.

"Cool!"

"He wants to go on a double date on it," she said. I had to pee.

"Cool, I have to use the restroom."

"Ever, I don't think you get it. He wants you and Callan to come with us." I spun around.

That would mean spending my first date with two other people, which was usually supposed to be done alone but I guess it would make it less awkward.

"Okay well let me check with Callan," I said. I nodded and walked past her towards my room. She was beaming. I rolled my eyes, grinning a bit. I flopped down on my bed and grabbed my guitar and started working on the picking for a song that I had recently come to love. I felt Callan throw something at my bed.

"Ever," he said. I sat up and walked to my window.

"Yes?"

"I've been calling your name for like, I don't know, five minutes now?" I blushed.

"Sorry, I kinda tune out."

"Nah, it's fine. Has Sara talked to you?"

"Well I live with her, so I talk to her like every day."

"You know what I'm talking about."

"Ugh I'm not sure."

"I mean it would be our first date, as a double date."

"Yeah but it might be less awkward if we have the nerds with us."

"And I'm not good at dates," he laughed. I smiled.

"And we could do something after. Like watch a movie here or something." He smiled.

"It's a deal then. I'll tell Adam." He turned around and left. I texted Sara.

Me: what time do we leave?

Sara: twenty minutes. Meet us on the porch.

I sighed. I walked to my closet and pulled out a black bikini. I pulled it on and then pulled on black high waisted shorts and a pink sheet crop top. I grabbed some flip flops and sunglasses and walked down stairs.

Sara sat on the porch on her phone, no doubt studying, and biting on her fingernail. We had a swing out there so I sat down in it and started murmuring my way through a song. I heard Adam walk over to Sara, but I was really tuned out.

I stopped singing though, when Callan showed up. I stood up and we awkwardly said hi, with Sara giggling in the background and then we all got in the car to drive to the docks. On the way Adam said my name.

"Yeah?"

"You're a beautiful singer," I blushed when he said it, which Callan saw and I saw him tense. I rolled my eyes.

"Thank you!"

"You know, you could really make it in the business."

"You really think so?"

"Yeah. My cousin works for that record label, what is it called again? Like golden discs or something."

"Golden Records?" I asked, Wayy too loudly.

"Ah, yes that's it. They are hosting this radio competition. You send in a recording of yourself singing, and they choose their top twenty favorites. If accepted, you have to send in another video each week, which they will play on the radio, and each week two singers get eliminated and when they are down to four, you go perform at a live concert in Los Angeles and winner gets signed."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah!"

"I am so auditioning can you help me?"

"We kinda already did it for you."

"How did you get a video of me singing?"

"Perks of living across from you," Callan said. I shoved him and said:

"Perv. How would you have known I wasn't naked?"

"Just a risk I had to take," he said as if he were doing something dangerous. Which theoretically, he was. I shoved him. He laughed.

"Whatever."

"Well you got in," Adam said, "you have like four days to make another video. You're welcome."

"Thank you guys soooooo much!" We pulled up to the dock and walked out to the boat. It was huge. Time to get this date started!!

A/N

Holaaaa so I had to break this chapter in two because there was too much I needed to write. This part nothing goes wrong, it's the next part that goes wrong

Forewarning: you won't actually go through their double date as I really just don't feel like it will be significant to the story.

Maybe some day Ever will have a flashback to when she was on this date maybe not.

Love yall
