"And make sure you guys take care of our little Sadie Bear this summer, okay? Don't make us come out here and find you."

Although Sadie's friend Missy was talking to all of us, I felt a certain look from her and Ricky, and with the way they were looking at me when Sadie and I came back to the green room, it was obvious they knew about us.

I actually thought it was really cute, the way she talked to her friends about me.

After saying goodbye, we all loaded back up onto the bus, ready to head out to the next city.

We all sat around the dinette area on the first floor and as Winston took the seat next to me that I was saving for Sadie, she sat across from me, getting boxed in by Ryder who took the seat next to her.

Why did he have to sit so close to her?

Jay was the last on the bus, and as he leaned back against the counter, he folded his arms across his chest.

"So, I just talked to Lenny. We're leaving in about five minutes and should be rolling into San Jose in about six hours, so... I'm gonna call Riss then get some sleep. Sades, you good?"

I looked over at her and watched as she nodded back at her brother.

"Yeah, I think I wanna hang out with the guys for a little."

After Jay excused himself and went upstairs, a wicked grin was on Ryder's face. He slung his arm around Sadie's shoulder, running his fingers up and down her arm and all I wanted to do was rip each of his fingers off her body.

Why was he always so fucking close to her?

"So, this isn't your first tour then?"

Sadie made a face and shrugged a little at Luke's question.

"Well, it's my first full tour. When I was younger, I'd always visit my dad on the road, but it wasn't like I was there 24/7. I still had school. So, now that I've graduated and I've got no more cheer practice in the summer, I get to experience all of road life."

"You still have the cheer uniform?"

"Dude!"

Everyone looked over at Ryder, who was still smirking at Sadie, winking before turning to Winston.

"Come on, Winnie, it was a joke. Relax."

I rolled my eyes, wanting nothing more than to jump across the table and bash Ryder's head in, but all those feelings seemed to wash away when I felt something on my leg.

I looked over to see Sadie slightly biting her lip as she looked at me and then I felt that same brushing down my leg again.

As her foot traveled up my leg and onto my lap, I shifted slightly, feeling a familiar tingling begin in the pit of my stomach.

This girl was driving me absolutely insane.

"Well, I'm calling it, we should be at the hotel in like... three hours. Night y'all."

We all said goodnight to Luke before he retreated to his bunk, leaving me, Ryder, Winston, and Sadie, who said she wanted to watch a movie.

"How are you not tired yet?"

"Dunno. I've never really been able to sleep in a moving vehicle. Maybe that'll all change this summer."

She shrugged my question off as we all began walking upstairs to watch a movie in our mini lounge area. As her hips swayed with every step she took, I bit my lip, trying my best to banish all of the dirty thoughts I was currently having.

Sadie took a seat on the bed and I followed right after her, forcing her to scoot over closer to the wall.

It wasn't my intention to block her in, but I wanted to sit with her without having to worry about where Ryder's hands were the entire time we watched the movie.

A small smile crept onto my face within the first few minutes of the movie when I felt Sadie slip her tiny hand into mine like it was meant to be there the whole time.

We were off the next day, so once we got to the hotel, Winston and I stayed up for a little while in our room, playing video games.

Winston, Jay, Luke, and I had all gone to school together and were banded like brothers, aside from Ryder, who was currently the topic of our conversation.

"Dude, I swear... he needs to stop with the boyband shit on stage. It's fucking annoying."

"Well, he is what brings the ladies in."

I shook my head and rolled my eyes at Winston's comment.

"Bullshit."

A moment later, Winston began laughing, chuckling to himself as he shook his head.

"I knew it, man."

"Knew what?"

"Ryder-- he's been flirting with Sadie since she got here and you're pissed cause you're into her, too... right?"

I sighed and closed my eyes, hanging my head before my voice came out low.

"It's not like that."

"So you're not into her?"

"..."

"See?! I knew it."

I rolled my eyes again before finally looking up.

"Win, man... Ryder can flirt with her all he fucking wants. I'm not worried about him and Sades."

Winston was silent for a moment, but I could see him staring at me. When I looked over his eyes were wide and his mouth hung open in disbelief.

"Oh, my God. You're totally hooking up with her, aren't you?"

"What? No way, dude!"

"So you're telling me that after just... what, three days... she's all of a sudden 'Sades'?"

Winston chuckled and I was left speechless.

"I can see why you're not worried about her and Ryder."

"Win, dude... just, keep it to yourself okay?"

"You know if Jay finds out--"

"He's not going to."
