"You guys were awesome out there! I mean-- I've listened to your album-- but that was fucking incredible!"

"I try, babe."

I rolled my eyes, seeing Ryder once again flirting with Sadie.

We'd just gotten finished with our set and she made a mad dash over to us the second we got backstage to congratulate.

It didn't seem to take any time for Ryder to "turn it on". Normally, I was fine with him being the manwhore than only he could be, but with Sadie... it was different.

I fucking hated it.

We had to wait around at the arena for a little while until our bus was ready, so after taking a shower, I found myself wandering around.

I walked around for about ten minutes until a familiar voice letting out a string of curse words pulled me towards a specific room.

"No, fuck balls! Shit! I picked fucking blue! Bitch! Fucking cheater!"

I peeked my head into the room, which appeared to be some sort of game room, and saw Sadie sitting at a computer.

"Everything okay in here?"

She looked over at me then back at the computer, shaking her head as she rolled her eyes and pointed at the screen.

"Stupid computer-- it keeps beating me at Uno."

As I approached her, a playful smile was on my face.

"If it's beating you, how stupid can the computer be?"

Her eyes narrowed in my direction and it was honestly the sexiest smolder I think I'd ever seen. After picking my jaw up from the floor, I threw my hands up in defense.

"I joke."

She gave me a cautious look before relaxing, her shoulders slumping forward as she laughed, dropping her head a little as she rolled her eyes.

She glanced over at the shelf that held a few different board games and after walking over to it, grabbed a small item from the very top.

I bit my lip, watching as the crop top she was wearing lifted, showing off the curves of her waist, and I couldn't help but imagine what it would feel like to touch her.

She held up a large stack of Uno cards, and as she smiled at me, her perfect teeth sparkled behind her luscious-looking lips.

"So how about we play the real thing?"

"Wait, so sevens mean we switch cards?"

"Yup, and that also means that now I have... Uno!"

We had been playing for almost a half-hour and Sadie was sufficiently kicking my ass. As we sat on the couch with the cards on the table in front of us, I couldn't remember the last time I'd had such genuine fun that didn't deal with being on stage.
