We only had two more weeks and then the tour would be over. I knew I wanted to spend as much time as I could with Sadie, but I had no idea what her plans were moving forward.

There's no real bass in our acoustic 'meet & greet' set, so I sat back, next to Winston as he played his cajon drum.

The VIP fans were starting to trickle in and, while I tried my best to focus on them, I couldn't help but keep an eye on Sadie, who was standing off to the side.

Some guy had walked up a moment later and I was doing a really good job at staying in the moment with the fans, but that all changed when I saw this guy kissing my girl.

I saw red.

It could've been teen seconds, it could've been two minutes, but all that mattered was that he was touching my girl. All those moments where I was in the dark with Ava came crashing back, and I suddenly felt enraged.

There was no way I was going to be played for a punk again; it was my job to let this guy know Sadie was mine.

I must've blacked out because the next thing I knew Winston and Luke were both holding me back, pinning me against the wall I felt like I had just someone pinned against.

My eyes darted through the different faces, noticing the small crowd that was starting to flood in had disappeared, and the only people around were crew members.

I didn't see security and the crew members escorting everyone out; all I saw was red.

I was still trying my best to get at this kid, thrashing unsuccessfully between Luke and Win, until my eyes finally landed on Sadie, who was visibly shaking as Jay tried to calm her down.

I instantly calmed down, looking at Win and giving him a look as I nodded towards Sadie.

He looked back at her then back at me again before releasing his grip on me.

"He's good, Luke. Just... give him a minute, alright?"

Luke's grip on me was loosening a moment later, allowing me to cross the room to where Jay was standing with Sadie.

He let his protective grip on her go, and seconds later, my hands were on her shoulders, gently guiding her back against the wall; my eyes scanned over her entire body, checking for anything out of the ordinary.

"Are you okay?"

She nodded and I pulled her in instantly, holding onto her like I never wanted to let go; I didn't.

I knew I'd never be able to let her go again.

"What the fuck is this?!"

I recognized the voice and as I pulled away from Sadie, my eyes landed on her brother, who was glaring at me, eyes full of rage and animosity.

With the way Sadie and I were wrapped around each other, I knew there was no way we could continue lying.

"Jay, can we--"
