ᑎᎥǤᕼ丅 20Our first show back on the road was last night and after a good night's sleep in an actual bed, we all loaded back onto the bus early the next morning.
Sadie, who was already on the bus waiting for us, greeted everyone but gave me a cold nod as she slipped past me.
It had barely been a day and a half since I said we should slow it down and I've been kicking my own ass ever since; I said it wrong.
What I meant to say was I needed to maybe slow down a little, get my feelings in check. I was falling for her too much, too quickly. It was scaring me how much I was starting to like her, but now... she wasn't even talking to me.
Hell... she wouldn't even look at me.
I was such a fucking idiot.

We had a bit of a drive ahead of us, so we were all hanging out upstairs watching a movie on the plasma tv when Sadie came bouncing up the stairs, her phone attached to her ear and a huge smile on her face.
"Well, yeah... it's finally happening..."
When she looked up and saw all of us looking at her, the smile on her face immediately morphed into a scowl and her eyes rolled the moment they landed on me.
She stormed off to her bunk, mumbling something about being annoyed by "this stupid fucking bus".
Jay turned back to us with a perplexed expression on his face.
"Fuck, what's wrong with her?"
"Yeah. It's weird, right?"
Ryder's smirk as he arched his eyebrows at me made me wanna throw him through the nearest window, but I had to keep my composure.
After a little while, I faked feeling tired and slumped back into my bunk, inwardly groaning as I heard Sadie's end of her conversation with whoever she was still on the phone with.
Her curtain was closed and I didn't mean to eavesdrop-- okay that's a lie; I should've just turned some music on with my headphones, but I laid there, pathetically listening to her on the phone.
"Well, of course... but let's face it. I'm pretty sure I'm destined to end up alone... Oh, no? Well, let's look at the facts... Alex... grade-A asshole who never deserved me... and the last guy I was actually into ditched me to go be ho. So, yeah... I think I'm just gonna be done for a while..."
My heart was pounding and began to feel empty thinking that I might have really blown my shot with Sadie.
She squealed in excitement a moment later and I smiled, but that happy moment was followed by dread a few seconds later as I listened to what she was actually saying.
"Ooooh, yeah, she'll be here tomorrow...She's gonna be here for the dinner... I know, right? That should be what I ask for. 'Mommy, I wanna spend the rest of my summer in Europe with you.' ... Oh you know they would... well, might. Well... if I was to go out and about, they'd probably hire a bodyguard... Shut up! ... A really hot one would be nice, though."
My stomach dropped and my vision began getting blurry thinking about her actually leaving.
