Never seems enough for you...
You don't wanna lose it again...
But I'm not like him...I glared at the back of Ryder's head as we rehearsed one of the covers we were doing tonight for the final show before our break.
As he continued singing what we all found out was one of Sadie's favorite songs from that band, I rolled my eyes... happy she was with her friends somewhere and didn't catch this, but mad at the same time cause I knew he would get to surprise her live-in-concert tonight.
As we shifted into the next song in the medley, there was nothing more I wanted than to rip his vocal cords out.
It seemed like the second right after I fucked things up, Ryder was instantly there, more than happy to slide in.
And as for Sades... she wouldn't even look at me.
I missed the absolute hell out of her, but Jay had me convinced that he was right; I was positive that I was way too fucked up to be with an angel like Sadie, so letting her go was my only choice.
And I was doing just that until Ryder began hovering around her.
I just... I needed Sadie to know--before the break-- why me and her wouldn't work. I didn't want her thinking it was something she did; she deserved better than me and Ryder and she deserved to know the truth.

Relief was washed over my face when I finally found Sadie after rehearsal.
She was in catering with her friends and as I approached their table, Missy's glare on me only intensified with each step that I took.
Sadie was looking down, seemingly focused on the bowl of fruit in front of her, and while her friends seemed to be playing bodyguards with the way they both shifted in their seats defensively.
"Uh, Sadie...?"
When she looked up at me through her bangs, it felt like the last twelve-and-a-half days didn't happen. It was just me and her again and I finally felt like I could breathe.
"Can we talk for a second? I--"
"She's busy."
Missy cut off my request, deflating any hope I had that Sadie would even wanna talk to me; I couldn't blame her friends for wanting to protect her like they were.
She looked over at Missy for a moment, giving her a warning look.
"Miss..."
Then her eyes were back on me. We were staring at each other for I don't even know how long before she finally stood from the table, nodding as she began walking towards the catering area exit.
Ignoring the looks I was getting from her friends, I silently followed her until we were in an empty locker room.
Once we were finally inside, she turned to me, huffing as she crossed her arms over her chest.
I had to bite my lip to keep from looking down; God only knew the thoughts going on in my head and what I wanted to do to Sadie.
