you know what hurts?
looking at a wedding magazine
and imagining myself in the gowns
and you with a bow tie
waiting at the end of the
aisle
that's not as bad
as watching the happy couples
kiss
and whisper
and laugh
as they watch the sun
set over the
beach
which is nowhere near as bad
as seeing you
in a happy relationship
knowing that you are
in love
and not with me.
