thanks for cheating
and lying
and running
and being afraid to say "i love you".
thanks for not believing
and for hiding.i'm not being sarcastic. really,
thank you.thank you for showing me
that there are good people
and people who aren't worth saving.and you, dear?
you were the worst kind of villain,
one who you think you can trust,
then stabs you the second that your back is turned.i may be guilty in this situation
but it is most certainly for a different reason.no, i am not guilty of cheating
or lying
or running.i am guilty for missing your arms around my neck,
your lipstick stains on my collarbone.
i am guilty of missing your little lies,
your empty praises.i am guilty because i know that you
cannot be saved,
but i continue to try
instead of for once and for all,
handing you over to the devil,
wrapped up in the rope that you yourself wove,
created from the fibers of half-truths
that spun from your mouth.................................
for godsavethetrees because your poetry is just... WOW
